Default Explaining religeon

One thing that is a big let down with xianity is that it doesn't actually explain things thoroughly.

Everything that exists has a scientific explanation. Some things are way too complicated for scientists to prove, but there are in depth explanations out there which are very understandable and the good thing is that we are told we can find out first hand, in this life, that they are real.

I've found that many religeons go into much greater detail explaining the mind, soul, afterlife, etc than xianity. There is no observable proof that can be shown to you, but they all say "Just try these methods and find out first hand" and you'll see wonders. I've tried out methods and seen glimpses of the wonders that I've read about. This makes me want to explore more, to see how far the wonders go.

Xianity says "Accept Jesus as your saviour and you'll go to heaven". It doesn't say WHY!!!!!

Other religeons explain things, and even people who are none religeous but have no religeon have explanations (and they're all very much alike).

I love what Jesus is about, and if I knew him I'm sure I'd never want to leave his side, but I always doubt that some of his most important messages have either been misunderstood or twisted.

twisted around for power and political expidiency yes.

the catholics formed what the bible is. they put it together and added to it. there were many other books they burned out of existance, and/or is locked away deep in the vatican. who knows if well ever see those.

one way of looking at it is thus; it's either all or nothing with religion. i find that day-to-day life is stressful enough without trying to incorporate religious doctrine into my persona. having just actually read that post you made (i didn't read it to start with, too long) i realise that you appear to have some liking to jesus. i will tell you this; when jesus realised he was god incarnate do you really think he felt fear over death? he had no concept of not knowing what would happen afterwards. thus making the transendence of jesus an utterly pointless expedition by god.

stoned but powned.

EDIT: awaiting arguement.

EDIT 2: noticed double use of word 'thus'. if someone would like to point out this i apologise. now stfu, i'm awaiting arguement.

^ I suggest you delete that post and hope that it's soon forgotten.

Edit: Don't worry, I'll delete this one also, just to hide all evidence.

jesus never claimed, nor is he thought of, as god incarnate.

The whole Son of god thing was him saying that we're all children of god. Technically that would make him the son of god by default, but not the only son. He preached about understanding, reason, love, and the general caring for the entire well being of the society itself. He wouldn't be against people being rich, but he would be against people starving in the street. It's a pretty simple concept to understand, but the majourity don't. Jesus even said that going to temple to worship god was unnecessary, and went on to say that we'd be pleasing god more by going out into our community to make a difference.
