You can only really comment on something if you've read it all, which I doubt you have. It's like people who search for a few passages from Leviticus, come to their own interpretations and say the Bible is anti-homosexual.
Here are a couple of quotes:
2.190. Fight against those who fight against you in the way of Allah, but do not transgress, for Allah does not love transgressors.
-- Thought it might help to put one of these quotes in context.
2.194. The sacred month for the sacred month; sanctities should be respected alike (by all concerned). Thus, if someone has attacked you, attack him just as he attacked you, and fear Allah and remain conscious that Allah is with those who guard against violating the bounds set by Him.
-- This one isn't advocating slaughter of all non-believers, just measured retaliation of those who attack the religion. Is that wrong? Well, look at what America (representing Christianity) did after 9/11. The only difference is that America has the good God on their side and Afghanistan/Iraq were all followers of an evil, destructive God
It's been interpreted to mean "kill whitey" by many Islamic terrorists, true, but it's been interpreted to mean the opposite by many more people. The majority of Islamic people do not want to eradicate the Western world. Don't let the actions of the few bias you against the many. And those websites you posted were some of the most biased sites I've seen. Prophet of Doom? Islam's Terrorist Dogma in Muhammad's Own Words!? Don't trust those interpretations, how can you fail to see that they're gonna be biased? Read the passages unadorned by interpretations and see what you make of them yourself.
The Qur'an has lots of passages that could be construed as promoting violence, there's no denying it. But they could be interpreted as advocating defence of a religion, without going overboard; I'm sure that if he exists, Allah is royally pissed off at suicide bombers or plane-hijackers.
And I think the guy you're looking for is Dre Crabbe.
