Im reading up on it and reading some of there books, some holds true, but most I disagree with. I'm catholic and I dont support the fact that catholics forced their religion on others, and scientologists are forcing their religion on others, like prison inmates, and I really am not liking it. There are so many things that people are unaware of that is happenening right now. I like to learn about as much as I can. Scientology is not some fake psuedo-science religion. I wouldn't even call it a religion. Just truth. People can come up with the most outragios things to discredit Scientology.

I have to say that My mother was a psychiatrist and I was just recently diagnosed with deppression and ADD so who do they think they are calling psychology a psuedo science it is all complete bullshit. I did a survey type thing with google. I typed in _____ is a cult with different religions in exact quotes and this is how it came out in decending order.

1. "Islam is a cult" 1,370 hits

2. "Christianity is a cult." 1,280 hits.

3. "Scientology is a cult." 825 hits.

4. "Catholicism is a cult." 691 hits.

5. "Wicca is a cult." 333 hits.

6. "Judaism is a cult." 135 hits.

7. "Buddhism is a cult" 102 hits.

8. "Atheism is a cult" 77 hits... haha

9. "Satanism is a cult 43 hits.

This just proves that you have to figure out for yourselves what you think is actually a cult and what isn't. If you want to go by what the majority of people think to try and avoid a "cult" then your best bet is Satanism.

Actually, in the middle ages & the renaissance, they did force their religion on others. Nowadays, the church as a whole doesn't, but in every religion there are some that do.

Well firstly a cult is simply a set of beliefs, only recently has it aquired the negative stigma it has in the modern world. Its not a religion, its a book of Jewish mysticism compiled in (i think) the 4th century CE.
