The True Ruler of the Universe
Thousands of years ago our population received the sole true message from god. Over the ages it has been diluted into many other forms. To find the true form of our ruler we must look through all the modern day religions and find the deeper connections.
After countless years of study, I have uncovered this divine connection. From this I have deduced that the Number Seven (Praise be the integer) is our Lord and Savior. Seven is found in the Star of David (four sevens put together) and the Christian Cross (two seven put together). Seven to the seventh power when written as eighthundredtwentythreethousandfivehundredfortythr ee contains seven, start to end, god. Also, there are seven days in the week, God rested on the seventh day, Joseph predicted seven years of prosperity and seven years of famine. Seven has five letters and two syllables, which adds up to seven. Now I have pondered over why this works in some languages and not others, and I have concluded that those languages were not chosen. Adam + Eve = 7. Eve is also the middle of seven. Zion is the seventh letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Zion also was a fortress conquered by David, signifying that David had become enlightened about seven. Seven also appears in Hinduism. The indo-european root of Shiva is also the same root for seven. I could go on and on.
In conclusion, I regret to inform you that you have been worshiping improperly. Every one of you. You have all failed to see the true meaning of your religion and unless you begin to worship the Divine Integer I am quite sure you cannot be fulfilled.

Re: The True Ruler of the Universe
Seems like a controversial topic, but you have a very good back up for your thesis. It's a very different and revolutionary way to view our world to say the least. I'd like to see what other's oppinions are on the topic, (expect to be flamed).

Re: The True Ruler of the Universe
seven sounds a bit like satan though doesnt it? satan also has two syllables and five letters...adding up to be seven. not to mention sesame street once protrayed seven as the great devourer...seven ate nine...get it? ok im not a freakin comedian alright.
either way, the 7 you see in the star of david as well as the cross wasnt written that way when these things came about (if im wrong its cause im an idiot) even the word seven, which you only 'broke down' once, so it doesnt really matter if it holds any great power, wasnt even pronounced, written, recorded, etc. in the 'english' language, that would be the way your saying it, until much later.
so i think you might need to revamp your theory, just a little.

No, the devil is six. Haven't you ever heard the song by the Pixies "Monkey Gone to Heaven" where it says:
"If man is 5...x4
Then the devil is six...x4
(Screaming) Then god is seven...x4"
I think they actually have some religious stuff to back that up too, I've heard that in other stuff too, but not really outside of music much, the man is 5 thing once or twice, and everybody knows the devil is six so I guess it makes sense (somewhat) that god could be seven. I don't know where the number connections really came from however.

I am a girl. But, that aside, yea. This is a perfect illustration of how if you we proved god existed it would be meaningless.
What the fuck are we supposed to do with a goddamned number seven? What significance does it have to know what god is if it's a freaking number symbol?

This is a perfect illustration of how atheists will never understand the implications of believing in God. They'll never understand that we not only believe in a creator, but a very specific creator who interacted with humanity on several occasions and provided us with a values system, with laws and standards of behaviour. It's not simply that God is God, but that He is the God of Avraham, Yitz'chak, and Ya'akov, and that there is a system of punishment and reward associated with heeding those values. And then they ask us why the threat of punishment would be necessary to inspire good behaviour on the part of humanity and how a loving God could possibly hurt his children that way. They also ask us how it could have been possible that after hearing God speak to them from a flaming mountain, after seeing all the miracles and signs visited upon Egypt, the Children of Israel turned to a Golden Calf.

Re: The True Ruler of the Universe
Wikipedia has more on the holy number:
Many cities are claimed to be constructed amidst seven hills; see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_hills_of_Rome and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_claiming_to_be_built_on_seven_hills
the traditional number of Wonders of the Ancient World.
the number of colors of the rainbow.
the figurative number of seas.
the number of sacraments in the Roman Catholic faith.
In most Sonic the Hedgehog video games, the number of Chaos Emeralds. (ROTFLMFAO)
The average number of digits that can be stored in short-term memory.
When rolling two six-sided dice, you are statistically more likely to roll a seven than any other number.
It's a pretty cool number for sure.

Re: The True Ruler of the Universe
I'm not dissmissing what you are saying, but I think, the hebrew dialect dosn't have any vowels in the written word, so therefore, the name of god, Jehovah (psalms 83:18 ((most bibles)) ) would have been written YHWH. So, adam+eve would be hard to write without vowels. Like most names.
I don't think there is any signifigance of the numbers, though, the bible is a big book, full of crazy crap, and a lot of numbers.
One thing that surprises me is when people use the bibles paragraphs and numbers of those paragraphs to back up their theory, but the thing people forget is that that bible wasn't always in book form, over the many years it was written on scrolls, with no numbering system, that was just put in latter days so that it would be easier to cross-reference.

Hebrew does have vowels, they just aren't in most of the holy texts. God's name written in Hebrew was Yud Hey Vav Hey, so if you want to put it in simplistic American it would be YHVH, however if you add the dot to the Vav it could make the Ooh or Oh sounds, which would significantly change your simplified American. They do have the names of Adam and Eve with vowels, and they spell... Adam and Eve. However in the origional Hebrew the number of letters does change, and I don't think they add up to seven with or without vowels.

Re: The True Ruler of the Universe
As is evident to anyone that has read the Bible, it is no mystery that the number 7 bears great significance to God...at least in relation to us as human beings.
However, I believe it is YOU that is missing the most important part of this discussion - the proper beliefs.
You should be focusing on God, the creator of all (to include the number 7, and every other integer on the planet), and not on things that bear no more weight than symbolism.
7 is not 7 without God.
So, it is to God you owe your allegiance, wonder, and reverence.
God bless you and keep you.
