If you overdose on drugs, and well.. DIE, is this considered a suicide even if it was unintentional!?

I mean so what that you didnt want to die, you still basically killed yourself.

It is said that if you commit suicide you goto Hell.

Well, if you're going by the Catholic Church, it'd be considered a suicide. Catholics believe that abusing a drug is, in a sense, killing yourself because of the harmful effects to your body. However, if you go along this same vein, you will also find that driving a car (along with many other commonplace tasks) will kill you eventually (toxic emissions from the gasoline), and that certainly isn't frowned upon!

I'm not to sure what religion you're really curious about, but that's just what I know.

Whether or not killing yourself need be intentional to be considered a suicide is a question that can be easilly answered in less than a minute using an online dictionary. This is not some deep thought that needs an in-depth philisophical debate, it is an example of ignorance over the meaning of a word.

Here's a better question.

In the very advanced future when all you have to do to live forever is drink a little potion or get shots every few months, is it suicide if you decide you don't wanna live forever any more?

If you don't intend to kill yourself, it's not suicide, it's accidental death. Suicide by definition requires intent.
