preaching is pretty much dead here. People just dont care enough about things they dont see to be concerned. But i bet they will when the nukes and meteors fall!

Is it preaching or illustrating? If it shows even one person that they are resting on the wrong thing, it may be worth it.

I consider myself to be learned in interpretation of the Word, but what are you trying to express to me?

Also the disciples were to preach once and leave if the people were unreceptive. You cant preach to a brick wall you know.

I think you quite thruoughly missed the meaning of that verse, in the context it was given.
