well if your takin a atheist point of view then youve already won. how can god be a shoe in the middle of the universe if god doesnt exist.

I'll help you out. There are two options for that debate:

1. An existing "shoe god" exists.

2. An existing "shoe god" doesn't exist.

*(I say existing shoe god just as I might say a blue car - a car that is blue, a shoe god that exists)

Clearly, option #2 is contradictory, leaving the only reasonable answer to be that, yes, an existing shoe god must exist.

Right. Let's ignore option three, which would say, "The shoe god doesn't exist".

Are you saying that God is more of a blunt instrument that can kick stuff around in a semi controlled manner but can't really influence people or specific events? Or is this just an example of randomness to see how people will answer?
