There's something i dont get but im sure theres a logical answer to. I looked up Jesus under the biographical entries in my dictionary and it said his life span was from 4 B.C to A.D. 29. But doesnt A.D. mark his death? I know it stands for Anno Domini or something but i thought it marked his death too. And doesn't B.C. stand for Before Christ? How could he be born before his era?

Its because medieval monks, when figuring out what year it was, fucked up.
We know better now, but we don't want to move the entire calender forward four years to fit in with when Jesus was born.
