Think positive!
Heavan and hell aren't as black and white as christians would make you think. But there is line between them both that measures the distance between the 2. There isn't a Hell, or heaven, scenario. The scenario is "where on the line will you be when you die".
As you go through your life you have different moods at anyone time. These moods constantly change, depending if you are having positive thoughts or negative thoughts. Things that will make your moods change are memories, thoughts of the future, or sometheng that's happening right now.
When you die you lose your body, so you are without a brain to recall you memories(I've explained this more thouroughly before), or senses to perceive what's happening now. All that's left is conscious energy (us) that vibrates at a rate determined by you mood.
So, if you are thinking negative thoughts (Such as "Oh I'm a loser") when you die, you will experience that level of happiness until you're either reincarnated, or for eternity(If we don't reincarnate).
Or if you're thinking positive thoughts (such as "Man I am the coolest"), you will experience that level of happiness until you're either reincarnated, or for eternity.
So it's important for you to think positively in this life. And if you can't think positively, learn how to think positively. Use every god damn strain of effort you have to learn how to think positively. Because that's what you want to be when you die. Positive. And with a smile on your face.
Learn how to develop stronger mind control (meditation) so you can focus on those positive thoughts that you know are lingering within you. Once you find those positive thoughts, meditate on them. Think about those positive thoughts and you will have a pleasant day no matter what. After a while you'll find that more positive thoughts start arising. Think of them aswell, the more positively you think the more and more positive thoughts will rain upon you, until you find yourself gleaming in happiness because all you can think are positive thoughts. Your buzzing like a bee. End your life in this state and you'll be happy when you die.
Learn how to think positive.
And just because you think "Man I'm sooo good looking" don't mean that there still aren't another million thoughts that are still negative. Go flush them out and turn them into positive thoughts. Search for the beauty inside yourself.
Edit: A very embarrasing spelling error

Re: Think positive!
I agree with thinking positively, but you speak as though you were someone who holds the only key to the secrets of life.
Where did you get this perception about Heavem and Hell ? (yourself, or a referencable location)

Re: Think positive!
Why doe it mater where he/she got the view of the world? Does having it written down somewhere make it more corect? As for posible sources I belive that the Mormons believe that you have to be really evil to get into hell but you must be a Mormon to get into the best part of heaven. He also could have been reading Dante. I have only read Inferno myself but that is a very long poem about exactly what happens to everyone who is not a good Christian. In the poem there are some parts of hell that are not half bad. Or he could have been talking to Catholics. They believe in places other than Heaven and Hell that you can go to when you die. And if all these sources can come up with similar concepts why doe it mater if someone else thinks the same without see them?

Re: Think positive!
I was actually asking because I was curious (which I thought was the precurser to most questions).
If I don't know where he/she is coming from, how can I understand it ?
It matters to me. That's why I asked. Why does it matter to YOU that it matters to me ?
If someone says something that is their OPINION, then they should indicate this, in my OPINION.
Otherwise, list a reference.

I think Mojo Hojo addresses that.
At the point of death all the sufferings that you caused people during your life will become profoundly apparent to you, and your mood will change to suit.
Hmmm, this makes me think. Maybe it's not so much positive thinking that helps you to determine your mood, but instead your awareness of how you treated people during your life. I guess it's still related since however positive you think also determines how you will treat people during life. Anyhoo.

He or she is no less loved by god than anyone else, and after death, will either reincarnate or join with Spirit--again, just like everyone else.

That wasn't directed at you, Beany. *smiles* I was responding to someone else. I already asked if it was just your opinion, and you sufficiently answered.
Peace.

Re: Think positive!
Well,
in this life you'll get some trouble,
but when you worry you make it double.
So don't worry........
be happy.

There is precious little chance of a deluded serial killer joining with Spirit after death. I guess you were just stating the theoretical options.

Maybe not after that particular death, but if we re-incarnate over and over again until spiritual prefection, then everyone would join.
