Hall for Muslims Vandalized



Vandals desecrated a controversial Muslim prayer hall being built in Sydney by smearing blood on its walls and leaving pigs' heads impaled on stakes. Pork and related products are forbidden in Islam. A local municipal council had initially refused permission for the hall's construction, saying it could become a hotbed for terrorists. A New South Wales state tribunal later overturned the ruling, and the hall is set to open in October.

As horrible as that kind of intolerance is, blood smeared on walls and pigs' heads on stakes are always a classy touch.
