That would imply that either the sun was very, very, very close that day, or that the photo(s) have been altered.

No, that is edited, sorry. Look at the tower - it stands too far out from the building behind. Also, just for the record, I edit photos quite regularly, so yes, it is edited.

visit turkey ask people to get a confirmation besides this photo was taken by the Turkish secular gov so why will they edit it what you tough of a shadows are fallen trees you can also show it to a professional photograph!
