Yes...Judaism basically covers the Old Testament. They were waiting for a Messiah, and when he came...some still didn't believe. The Messiah was supposed to fulfill the prophecy or whatever, and at that point Judaism would be obsolete. However, the people who killed Jesus didn't believe he was Messiah so...yeah.
