Where did Jesus go for 3 days before he resurrected

Some people think he when to hell, to preach to the captives. Does that mean all the people in hell at that time got a second chance to be saved by him?

I'm pretty sure he freed all the people who died before he came, when he went in to Hell.

Jesus had to die for our sins. He was dead for those 3 days. He wouldnt be out and about messing about preaching to captives ect, he had done all the preaching in his short time as a Rabbi. His disciples were the ones who took over from him after he died.
