like a baby who is crying for no reason other than that he is a baby, and unaware of greater common sense, you may just need to wipe the tears from your eyes, look up, and see that there's really nothing to worry about.
if an infant stubs his toe, and cries a lot, good parents will rush to console him, sharing his pain in order to alleviate it.
if that same infant cries incessantly because he wants to play with the sharp fork and knife used to feed him, these same parents will get annoyed and wait patiently for the child to realize his tears are a waste of time, in order for all to smile again.
