A theory is that he wanted to experience himself from an outside perspective. He put parts of himself (Souls) into humans and made the souls forget who they were. So life for us is a journey of experiencing the wonder of god and this experiencing and learning over many lifetimes will eventually lead us back to god.

If you want some good creation theories, I suggest Norse, Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythos...they have some of the most creative and fun creations and reasonings for such.

Having perfect beings to glorify you is boring. why not have something that has the CHOICE to glorify and not to glorify, than you really know if you are a great person or not. Or maybe we are just a sitcom.

The existence of a creator is true neccessarily. Something had to create the singularity that spawned our reality.
The question is what, exactly, is that creator? Is it some unsentient scientific force like magnetism that we are totally superfluous to? Where did it come from? Did it arbitrarily happen to exist? Is it impossible to have a state of nothingness?

"Nothing" is the absence of anything and everything.
"Nothing" has no potential for change.
"Nothing"ness begets nothing and there will never be anything if the condition of "nothing"ness was ever true.
Inversely, if there is ever something, then there can never be "nothing" unless matter can be removed from space-time in every plane and dimension of existence.
Thats kind of hard to imagine though. Matter disappears, where the fuck does it go!?

the singularity is most likely created over and over again, aka reoccuring "big bangs" in a flow of universal "time". Dont mix physics and god to prove or disprove, a true quest to do so without a doubt will only mean you'll only die a very old/very stupid/very boring man.

When you feel your ready to. Also, evreything we create we personify. We place limitations on ourselves so we have to operate here in this level, until we don't need to. Yet while we are here, we can learn a great deal about ourselves, and have fun, or be bored, depending on how you wanna look at things.

I like what you have to say ilbastardoh in that we have to find out who we are. I have come to find out that I am a child of God and that he put us here. I have yet to find out a complete answer. Many think it is that it was out of the goodness of his heart. So why did he create people that would not choose him? Maybe because so He could truly feel the love from imperfect beings rather than from the perfect beings. Maybe HE just wanted to. Maybe it was so he could create an imperfect being that would make a choice that in the end would defeat Satin and the fallen angels, or at least to say that a lesser being could make a better choice than the perfect beings that fell. Truthfully I dont think that I will ever know until I ask Him myself at the time of my judgement. Until then I will strive in my life to be a Christ-like person. Not because Im scared of the udgement that will face me, but because it is the right way to act towards people. I acted this way before I became a Christian and I will act this way from now on.
ilbastardoh Are you one of those new age thinkers where you have come to realize that you are God. If you have come to realize that you are God why didnt you know that you were God in the first place, because if you didnt know in the first place theen how could you be God.

Not that I have proof of this that anyone else will readily believe. But I know this to be true for myself. I took a huge dose of mushrooms once and while I wasn't myself, I realized this. Try a huge dose of mushrooms all by yourself, you will find out what I mean. heh, oh by it takes it being stated, I couldn't have stated what beany said until I read it. I don't think God created us. He left a bunch of building blocks around and left the blocks to it and over time the blocks came up with humans. If he comes back it would be like discovering ants in your garden.

Re: Why did God create us?
You see, god created human beings to worship him...
How do you know that god exists? ... Now you as a rational individual ... think of how limited you as a human being are.
God has created the eyes for you too see. But can you see beyond what your eye can see. You have a limit to what can eye can see up to. Your ears are for listening, but can u hear someone shouting from 2 kilometres? ... You see you have limitations ... these limitations are what differentiates us from god.
I sometimes get thoughts on how god is infinite. And infinite is everything. Then that concludes us to the fact that we are part of god since he is infinite and infinite is something which includes everything. Nevertheless, knowing that you are limited - you will find out that your mind is limited. Now you as a finite creation have the ability to open your mind to an infinite mind and logic of a creator. This is not possible. Everything which is created points to god and his "existence". For example COLORS ... they are a gift from god... Imagine we had no colours in this world... Everything was black and white ... now you would have a hard time differentiating objects and surroundings. Now a question pops up on why god has created us... god has blown part of him into us- which is our soul. Now we have a brain which is used for rational thinking. For everything thing- there has to be a logical explanation to it. Food for example is for us to eat so we can survive... mouth is for eating drinking speaking etc. now our existence has a purpose... our purpose is to worship god alone as the creator. He is one. When worshipping god there is a small part of you which feels comfortable before you go to sleep. Knowing that you have fulfilled a part of you. If out existence was for no reason then why are we living ... to die in the end without any reason. Now god has sent some rules down. With these rules life will be achieved. Everything he sent down is rational. Like adultery. Every human being enjoys sex, but what if everyone was just mating with ever other individual. Fornicating in the streets just for joy. Then what's the difference between us and animals. They fornicate without knowing who is who. We are humans, we have to think. With marriage I have got a sex partner. Now I should not teach to live with the proper laws which will lead us to infinite happiness: paradise. Everything is a test. Now some people might think of "why live if god knows everything, and he knows what every creation will end up in"... now think of it this way if you dont believe in free-will. Your sitting in a classroom and a teacher tests you. Now if you think that youre going to fail you wont study- but still you have the opportunity of studying. If you study you will be able to pass. And the rest is up to god. But god is merciful and as a proof is he created us when we were NOTHING. He gifted us with the eye sight, hearing with out ears... speaking ... he created a joyful moment between the 2 sexes as a result a new person will come to life. This is life... it keeps up. now there has to be an end to everything ... are we going to keep populating until there is no more space... or the sun will keep there ... everything has an end except god because he is the beginning and the end. The sun will die soon causing the whole universe to scatter up. God as the merciful just wants us to use our rational logic to understand everything and worship him since he created us. God the all merciful.

Why did someone create god? We only exist we weren't created but just changed over time into different forms, infinitely existing.

Please,
How could god have BIOLOGICAL instinct?
I was referring to the want for someone to teach, love, & guide. In the hopes of further building on the conciousness so that the created one will learn to understand & know all principle of it's creator with the goal furthering expansion of this conciousness.

Re: Why did God create us?
The most logical sense I've derived from my 'research' on this creator topic is as follows:
God is not a lifeform. Instead, god is more of a state of nothingness. Nothing, zero, nil, isn't bad or good. It has perfect balance, perfect peace. Before there was anything, there was nothing. A plane of nothing (picture a graph) stretching on infinitely. Then, by some cosmic coincidence, there was light (yes, perhaps the bible was right on some sense). An incomprehendibly strong light that created the universe (god?). Light in dark; boom (think the big bang theory). This dot of strong light perhaps was at the center of the graph (0,0) and expanded to create a circle, our universe. In the blast, matter was strewn all over this nothingness. Take a look at atoms. What's in between them? We know that they do not rest on each other, but there is nothingness separating them(more for gasses, less for solids). This separation nothingness is from the original infinite nothingness that existed before anything literally existed.
Was this all planned out? Where do we as humans come into play?
In a way, yes, this was planned. Nothingness, as I explained, is a state of perfect peace; no bad, no good, but perhaps in this is a profound understanding. Our universe is an antagnost to this idea of peace, since free willing activity takes place, even under it's own laws of science. But I believe that free willed activity sometimes reaches this state of perfect peace.. even for a fraction of a moment. Obviously, our earth's activities bounce around on both sides of the spectrum, never balancing perfectly or indefinately. If you believe in Karma and reincarnation, this is a perfect fit. The closer you get to understanding this peace with 'god', the less you require a mortal body.. and as Buddhists believe, you shed it and join god in 'the Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen' [Sorry, I couldn't resist playing a Christianity card].
I hope this made a tad bit of sense, but I'm probably rambling due to my fatigue and today's drug abuse (not to mention insanity).
