Of course it's not a waste, it's all part of a beautiful work of art.

At any given moment, to SOMEBODY'S perception. YOU are the good, the bad, the thief, the saint, the wiseman, the fool, the friend, the enemy, etc. etc. etc.

Perception is multi-sided like a diamond, the filters of perception make you see only one side since you can't see everything that has led up to the creation of that perception. Hate to use a corny cliche but sometimes things such as walk a mile in a man's shoes actually work.

When you merely attempt to understand everything that has led up to the person in front of you being the person in front of you you'll realize.....

i understand empathy as a concept and as an attempted ideal towards better understanding, but keep in mind that when you empathize with someone you're making assumptions about their internals thoughts and feelings based on their external interactions, which you have filtered through your own perceptions. empathy can lead to a false understanding of other people.

Edit: and of course we're all pretty much the same, we're all the human animal, and living in the north american culture a lot of us are shaped by the same media, but as orwell once said, some animals are more equal than others.

but please, please, don't honestly say that the spam of childish internet users (the gg s0n sit stuff, or the one word lol or eh or hehe posts) could be perceived by yourself as valid, ever. don't lose your merit right after you obtain it =)

the smiley face "=)" negated the seriousness of the comment. My opinion of traffic is actually more of an intellectual peer or superior than a "bitch" because he/she sounds like an adult whereas i simply am a child of (just turned) 17. To cope with myself i smoke pot many times a day, or i surely would have gone suicidal by now. although i have a basic knowledge of neurolinguistics, i go out of my way to not use them, and hopefully never will until (if) i go into sales or another occupation where manipulation of the general population would be helpful.

will this insight into my existence cause you to refrain from making gloriously stupid assumptions about my character?

edit: a few years ago i came to the realization that it is far easier to learn through the experiences of intelligent adults rather than to take the hard road yourself, sort of like shortcutting the maturity process by not thinking in your teen years that you are omnipotent.
