Mostly because there's no point in arguing about it.

If Thiests are wrong, we'll never know. If Athiests are right, they'll never know. Hell, they'll never even remember thinking that they they were right.

Why even argue about it? Just let people believe or not believe in whatever the hell they want.

True, in order for one to open their mind, they must first hear other ideas and philosophies, religions, theories, etc.

What better place to do that than in this forumand the internet where you have such a mix of beliefs?

The same way we knew the Earth was flat a few hundred years back.

Anyway, this is why this forum doesn't work all the time. But it is a good thing to listen to and seriously consider the tenants of other faiths and/or philosophies. Broadens the mind.
