What language do I need to know to write an effective virii?

I heard that it has to be C, but could I do it with Java?

I know that Java sucks teh arse, but it's the only computer language I know.

Help is appreciated.

I know that you can write a virii with C. It's all over the internet that you can make it with C.

java is pretty much an extended version of c++, which is extended of c.

sure you can do it in assembly but if you plan on doing high-school level programming you probably wouldnt even understand it.

I don't know what any of you are talking about, everyone knows that all the virii out there are written directly in binary. None of the languages out there simply offer the versatility and robustness of good ole' fashioned binary programming.

You can write it in any language that you can get it to work with. I suggest you learn a couple languages, and the criminal code in your nation (probably a red state). Oh, and write it for Windows, I run Linux.

I've heard people can do it in binary but a friend of mine wrote one and to test it out he sent it to one of my test computers and it worked. He wrote it in C.

You can write a virus in any programming language you want. The latest and very agressive worm to attack webservers is written in perl here is the code http://www.k-otik.com/exploits/20041222.sanityworm.pl.php

It was created from a exploits for phpbb boards, the exploit is only a few months old. (Just type this in google This site is defaced!!! and you will see how much webservers it took down, many are still down.)

If you don't know much about programming write it in vb, the kill commando works nice to delete files and mess things up.

Windows - c, vb (for the kiddies out there), c++, assembly, and old school FORTRAN haha

Unix/Linux - perl

Mac - just install some windows based progs and fuck it up

Cell phones - J2ME (java) i have a thread about cell phone based viruses

Hmm... I think that I'll learn vb, since as you say it's for script kiddies, and I'm too lazy to learn any serious language like c or c++.

I would say that you should not be sending viruses around unless you know how to do it without your own ISP catching you--if you are sending malicious files and anyone else can prove it, your ISP will very possibly drop your account--just because they don't want to deal with the complaints about you. The person you infected would have to be able to show within reason that you sent the file that infected them--but if they can do that, you have a problem, you might not have an ISP anymore. You can go with another local ISP of course but if you had cable or DSL and there's only one service provider in your area, you are banished to dialup....

Code in C, make sure its encrypted when you send it (so thier Norton wont pick up any 'malliscious' code in it) and hope they are stupid enough to run it.

Make it so it quietly disables their Norton and spreads to any hard disks on their computer, allowing you to put any new viruses on.

Put it onto a CD like a games CD youve copied and make and add it into the autorun file.

.bats and .vbs get picked up with any 'bad' code in them straight away by norton.

Visual Basic is good if your a beginner and want to make shit that only annoys people like Joke Trojans.

Many worms are made in VB too, such as the "I love you" worm and the "Melissa" virus.

If your an idiot that has no clue or experience in shit like this I suggest you don't even try.
