Network (in)Security Interesting hacks and cracks. Info on firewalls, TCP/IP, encryption, networks, and security. The ins and outs of the phone system, caller services, how things work, what's illegal and what's not, cellular phones, beepers, telephony legislation, the PUC, ISDN, taps, who's listening, and switches. Talking about phones, hacking systems, technical advice, and such is completely LEGAL in the United States -- it's covered by the First Amendment. What's illegal is conspiracy to commit a crime. So if you say something like "Meet me at 2am so we can crack a can" or "I changed my cell phone's number myself" you are criminally liable. Stating "You can crack a can by doing thus-and-so" or "If you wanted to change a cell phone's number, you could do it like so" is perfectly OK. Posting passwords, calling card numbers, or credit card numbers is forbidden on this network. Posting such info will get you booted off the net.

Default information is outdated on this site.

The information on this site about hacking and phreaking is very outdated. Can someone please delete the old ones and someone write some new ones so that people can learn things not from 20 years ago.

We need some experianced hackers to write these as there is nothing but noobs here, very few real hackers

Yes, some of the articles are outdated.

But, no, people won't make new ones only because you asked.

I wrote a few tutorials some time ago. I wouldn't go and say they are better than what this site offers, but you can check them out of you want:

Kolossus, the ancient egyptians didn't use vowels, and they didn't use our number system. All their information is old and shitty. Let's trash it and make up better stuff.

p.s. This thread seems like Bitching & Moaning.

LOL...

Those "Phreaking Boxes" dont work but

people are still writing tut's for

them everyday.They obviously dont know

anything,or they would know the local

switches are all automated with Mainframe

class Computers.

That How to Break into Email Accounts

text by protonigger is also crap.It would take weeks of server logging, and script

debugging in most cases just to get some

kinda idea of how there scripts work. That

is irrelevent as far as any commercial

Email servers go.

Commercial Servers log server transactions

as well as back up there database every 24

hours.Thats why when a site like AOL or

Yahoo get defaced there back up within a Hour at most.Useing a Pass Cracker would

just make the Admins lauph before they

traced your Proxy connections and contacted your ISP.

this is the "most stupid" sentence I´ve read in a couple of years ..

Every Information means power. You can learn a lot from the past. Nothing is useless, just your company ..

And yes cense, I still love you, and I feel sorry for the scars I made ..
