first off i am not very good with computers so if u reply try to keep it simple. anyways... how do i disable the school firewall? it keeps me from accessing totse at school along with many other good sites. The other preblem i have is remote desktop. It allows my teachers to look at what i am doing without looking at my screen. any help is appreciated

well as soon as you disable remote desktop they'll smell a rat.

to access the sites you want try using a 'proxy' for example www.proxify.com (http://www.proxify.com)

although that goes down a lot but there are loads more. your admin will have blocked some but there's new ones out there very day.

or google the site you want and then click 'cached'

the thing with the fire wall, the proxy method only works sometime.

at my school last year they used "x-stop" that worked with proxy, but now they have a system built into the servers/routers i still havent figured out how to get past it.

as for the remote desktop viewing, they rarely ever keep track of it, the teachers would much rather look for porn, and unless you have a really good IT department there, ours is one fat lady.

dont disable remote desktop, get a program that monitors the remote desktop port.

and this can be used to your advantage! use remote desktop to conect to others computers.

but yeh just find the remote desktop registry key by googling "remotely enable remote desktop" and it shud have the key there.
