 Recoding DVD vob files with subtitles intact
I am happened to procure a DVD of Shaolin Soccer in a china town a while back. I wanted to watch this movie in my Video Ipod. I thought that it should be a simple matter of using Nero 6 to extract the DVD files and then use Nero Recode to recode the main movie from VOB to MP4 format.
The disc is not copy protected ( like any DVD typically found in a chinatown ) so I was able to extract the DVD files. Yet when I recoded the movie into MP4, the subtitles are not showing. The main movie is okay, and I can watch it in my Ipod, but I do not understand chinese. Thus I need help in putting in the subtitles.
Has any one here have any luck of recoding subtitled movies into MP4 format?
