I don't think we're any better than the other signs. I am very cancerly though, i.e. I can't throw shit out because I might want it later, and like, I'm emotional and shit. The Zodiac interests me though. It seems fairly accurate on something that seems pretty random.

while sidereal astrology follows the actual stars, most tropical astrologers do not.

in conventional western astrology, it is not the stars that denote the signs, but rather the equinox and solstice dates which mark the beginnings of the cardinal signs. which is why aries always starts on the spring equinox even though the sun is still in the constellation of pisces at the time.

Anyways, I got so interested in astrology that Id like to share something on the topic. I think that your western sun sign can only tell some genral characters of you while if you go in to the indian jyotish astrology, where your moon sign is more imp. the predictions come out to be true becoz, the moon is the most closest planet which causes tides and hence the water in your body is also effected more by the moon.

You can get your moon sign and ascendant calculated on the following sites and remember if your western moon sign is taurus then your indian moon sign is aries because you have to subtract what is called the ayanamsh i.e. currently 23 degs at the moment
