Yup . Here's the long version, and here's the short version (also here's the short version in French).

The guides are a touch dated, so some of the software mentioned therein has newer versions out and therefore some of the menu settings described might differ as well, but the general gist is still the same.

Default Cocaine Scam

A good way to get an easy 40-60 dollars, or more.

You must know someone who wants coke, even if they are your friend.

You must have someone you know that delivers. Can be a regular old friend.. pretend!

Get the money and have the person wait with you, be outside and in a hurry like you are going somewhere.. Call the "dealer" and when they bring the "stuff" its just baking soda or whatever better fake coca you got.. You go get it, give them the money and give them "what they gave you" sounds pretty easy right?

If you know a person who sells real shit, you just keep a bag of whatever in your pocket. You go get the real stuff and give them the fake. Not callin that dealer no more!

This can be done with other things. Make sure you don't do this to a big dealer though, or one who will hurt you for giving him a bad name unless he hates the person.

This is for some informed individuals to post methods of making money (bad ideas style) and the less informed to read it, ask questions, provide some input, etc etc.

Ignorant fucks whose posts bring nothing to the table, please get the fuck out.

Because of the theme of the thread, most of the methods will involve some type of illegal action.. but not every method must. Although we're obviously not here to say "Get a job, n00b ; D!" The methods that don't use illegal action but probably belong here (simply for the sake that they could involve some illegal action to increase profit) - are like metal scrapping, ticket raffling... etc etc. Use judgement.

Shoplifting and Car shopping have their own threads

Some topic suggestions we should cover: Pedobaiting, bar code scam, complaint letter scam, ebay, craigslist, extortion, 'night ops', pawning (properly).. etc etc.

I will contribute later, but I have life to attend to for a few hours. = D

I'm asking a mod, on behalf of all Bad Ideas, to sticky this thread.

Money Laundering V1

1. Take funds and WesternUnion them to yourself or to a partner. The farther out the better. Wire NO MORE than $995. Include a secret question/answer. On forms, fill out only First Name, Last name, Zipcode, Country, Secret Question/Answer. Name should be fake.

2a. Have receiver pick it up with their fake info, and get "change" from different stores. Dont ask for too much change from the same stores.

OR

2b. MoneyGram the funds and pick up with fake ID. (Not sure if they still do secret question/answer)

REMEMBER ALL DIRTY MONEY SHOULD BE LAUNDERED NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!

Pedobaiting, bar code scam, complaint letter scam, ebay, craigslist, extortion, 'night ops', pawning (properly)

Alright, I go through those of these which I know at least something about.

Pedobaiting:

Go into a chat room
Pretend to be a young girl
Chat with pedos
Tell them your mom is taking away your computer and you need monies for a laptop
Tell them that you want to visit them and you need monies for a plane ticket (make sure that you tell them the flight you want to go on etc.)
Pretend to be a parent and tell the pedo that you will bring them to court for attempting to kidnap a minor and for soliciting a minor online. Tell them to pay up so that you won't.

Barcode Scam:
Find two similar items which have a huge price difference. A good example of this is a 512 mb SD card and a 4 GB SD card. Write down the UPC code of the cheap item and go here (http://www.barcoding.com/upc/). MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE THE LEADING AND TRAILING NUMBERS WHICH ARE A BIT SMALLER. Print this barcode out on label paper and put it on the more expensive item. Then you can keep the item or get store credit for it (if you are going to return it make sure you take the cheap barcode off.

Complaint Letter Scam:
Find a number for complaints/comments on the side of any consumer good. Call the number and say that the product didn't work in some way or it tasted bad or something. MAKE THIS BELIEVABLE. They will very likely ask for a barcode or something so make sure you have that on hand. They will then most likely send you a coupon for free stuff. You can also do this with mail, but it takes longer and cost more because of postage prices.

I don't know much about the rest of these scams, so hopefully someone will fill in.

So, you have some money to invest (or not) and want to make money on e-bay?

With this, you can reach a wide customer base and boost your rating, making a larger sale (or scam) later on a lot easier.

Every weekend in every town there are many garage sales and sometimes flea markets, especially in the Summer. Every week there is 'bulk trash day.'... When people throw out large items. Start collecting stuff.

Lay out a large towel or bed sheet to put the items you buy, take (from trash its completely legal), or steal (from a yard sale or flea market..) This will allow the pictures you take to look somewhat professional.

I don't give a shit how you got it, but use your creativity and put a good story to each item (ESPECIALLY if its a collectible). People love reading a good story. Anyway, sign up for an e-bay account (legit) and list your items. It takes about 3 minutes to list everything, and if you sell repeat items you can list the multiples in about .3 seconds. It costs a total of about $2.00 per listing and sometimes more depending on whether or not you list multiple pictures (suggested for big ticket items).

Lie or be honest about condition, etc, etc.. start out with a low price (if you stole it or got it for free, even lower because it takes less to make a profit.) Generally, people at auctions like competition and will bet higher just to 'win.' You can overprice shipping and handling, a little bit.. too.

List many items at once.. Its a hell of a lot more interesting than paying attention to one item and the law of large numbers says you will get more bites with more items.

This will generally boost your Sellers reputation and when you decide to sell a (picture of a) Lear Jet, you'll have a better time selling it and then cancelling your account, etc etc etc.

[B]

Good find with that site. You usually have to have it listed in UPC format. I work in retail and have been taking barcodes that are already sticky, but I've got to believe that there's regular paper you can stick in a printer and just print out a sheet of barcodes... but I've yet to find it.

This can be combined with the receipt scam.. just find a receipt and plug in the barcode, and then put it on basically any item (within reason).. should work well.

Siphoning Gasoline

--------------------------------------------
Materials

1 - Trash Cans - Free - Can't have holes. Preferably with a top - The night after trash day just collect all the trash cans you want.

2 - Gas cans - Free - The bigger the better - Acquire them from carports, sheds, boats, etc.

3 - Hose - Free - Every house has one.

4 - Cable cord - Free - If you don't have one lying around the house you can get them from the side of peoples houses for free

5 - Tape - Free - I like to use "Priority Mail Tape" that I steal from USPS but tape stolen from CVS, Wal-mart, etc work just the same.

6 - Car - If your parents don't have a car and neither do any of your friends you should kill yourself cause you live in Africa.

Steps

1 - Get the hose. Stick it into the cars gas tank. Cut the hose to the appropriate length that you want it to be.

2 - Get the cable cord and cut it so that you have a piece about 5 inches longer then the hose.

3 - Now here's the hard part. Tape the TIP of the cable cord with tape. Until it just barley fits into the hose
.
4 - Now to make sure you didn't put to much tape...run the cord through the hose (Taped side last) and when the cable cord comes out the end pull. If you can pull the cord clean out of the hose in 1 second its working right.

5 - Test it on water. Now you have a siphoning device (YAY No drinking gas)

6 - Clean out the trash cans spotless

7 - Now siphon all the gas you want into the gas cans you've commandeered. (Older cars work best)

8 - Once you're gas cans are full dump the gas into the trash can. (Put the trash can behind your shed or something)

9 - Sell it. I prefer a 25% discount of normal fuel costs. But don't change your prices everyday other wise your customers get pissed. Change your prices once a month and use the same gas station as a constant.

* Sell to friends, family, the dude down the street, the one chick that walks that dog all the time, and that guy from one street over who your pretty sure is gay.

If you want it'd be a good idea to drill a row of holes on the tip of the hose so that if you stick the hose in the tank and it touches the bottom of the tank it still sucks up gas. (Kind of hard to explain but believe me)

http://www.bombshock.com/forum/money-fake-id-free-living/4787-how-make-counterfeit-money-blank-checks-complete-freebase-method.html#post42295

I've read counterfeit tutorials and check blanking tutorials on here but none of them had the method I'm going to share with you. I've been doing this for about 2 years now and it has never failed me!

Here is my complete freebase method of making counterfeit method and blanking checks. I hope you all enjoy it and find it useful!

Counterfeit Tutorial:

Materials Required:
1)Kleenex Tissues or Baby Wipes
2)Bowl or Dish pan
3)Pure CH3COCH3
4)NaClO
5)*Optional* H202
6)Hard, Flat Surface
7)$1 bills (the more you have the more money you make)
8)Large Envelopes
9)Heavy Book (dictionary/encyclopedia)
10)Double Sided Tape
11)Printer Paper
12)Scissors
13)1968 or earlier Currency images (front and back) (use whatever amount you want. I suggest a $5, $10, or $20)
14)Iron & Ironing board
15)Scanner/Printer
16)Patience
17)Measuring Cup (ml)
18)Gloves
19)Face Protection
20)Pencil

Process 1: Preparing your money

1)Take all your $1 bills and iron them flat. The $1 bill MUST be in perfect condition!!! Tares or any imperfections can ruin the final product!

2)Measure out 500ml of pure CH3COCH3 and add in to the bowl

3)Measure out 500ml of NaClO and add it to the bowl

4)*Optional* Measure out 500ml of H2O2 and add it the the bowl

*Notice a reaction taking place? It should get hot and start bubbling. This is your "Reaction Bath." This chemical solution will dissolve the ink of the money. Adding the H2O2 is optional because it really isn't really necessary. But using it will produce a better, more realistic looking product. *

5)Put on your Gloves (these gloves should be chemical and electric resistant. Rubber gloves are best for this)

6)Put on your mouth/nose protecting mask. breathing in the chemical smell from the reaction bath can be toxic. This isn't necessary but safety should ALWAYS be your top priority when working with chemicals.

Process 2: "Cleaning" your money

1)Add the $1 bill in the reaction bath and let is sit for 10 minutes. This will allow the reaction to finish and make the ink removal ALOT easier (if you used the H2O2. If you didn't, it will be a little harder to do)

2)Place the $1 bill on a hard surface

3)Take your Kleenex or your DRIED baby wipe and begin softly but firmly rubbing the ink off the front of the $1 bill in a circular motion.

*THIS IS NOT A RACE!!!!! BE SLOW AND TAKE YOUR TIME. THE MORE TIME YOU TAKE TO CARE ABOUT THE PRODUCT, THE BETTER ITS FINAL RESULT WILL BE!*

*You will notice that the front if the bill will become black and smudgy (if you didn't use the H2O2) But if you did, the ink should come off easily.

4)You WON'T get this all off with just 1 soak! It will take 3-4 Soaks to completely clean the $1 bill. Every additional soak is just 1-2 minutes

5)Repeat this process until the $1 becomes complete white/gray/pearl

6)Take the $1 bill and run it under HOT water (don't flood the thing. A nice slow stream works) be sure to cover all the $1 bill. You don't want any left over chemicals still on the $1 bill

7)Now do the same but in COLD water

*If the money rips/tares EVEN A LITTLE, THE PROCESS HAS FAILED AND ITS UNUSABLE. YOU WILL HAVE TO START OVER*

8)Place the $1 bill in a large envelope and place a heavy book on top of it

9)Let this sit for an hour and a half (90 minutes) so it can solidify and feel normal again.

*look at the $1 bill. The front should be white but the back should still be normal. This is what you want! The money should have the same texture as if nothing was done to it. There will however be little collections of balled up ink/little bits of paper. This is normal!*

10)Carefully re-iron the $1 bill to remove the little blots of leftover ink/balled up paper. They may not completely go away but they will be suppressed so its OK!

17)Now just repeat steps 1-10 expect with the back of the bill and you will have 1 completely blank $1 bill!!!!! Do this for however much money you want to print.

Process 3: Printing

1)Find the 1968 currency (front and back) for the amount of money you want. The 1968 currency doesn't have any security features and are still in circulation to this very day. They are rare to get but they exist.

2)Take your index card and scissors and cut out an EXACT replica of the $1 bill. This will be your "Test Print" to make sure you are doing everything OK.

3)Tape the back of the index card down with the double sided tape (tape th edges to you don't effect the entire replica bill or remove any paper)

4)Trace and outline of the location with a pencil (lightly)

5)Scan your "test print"

6)Use a photo editing tool such as PhotoShop and create a new image

7)Make it as big as the "test print' and add the front of the currency to where the index card is.

8)Now print it in a high quality!

9)Wait an hour and let the ink dry

10)Repeat steps 2-9 except printing the back

11)After the ink COMPLETELY DRIES, iron it one last time!

Congratulations! You just made counterfeit money!!!!!

Here are some suggestions:
1)Don't make anything higher then a $50 if your underage. People will check it out
2)Don't spend the fake money at a place where you know they check the money. It will pass the "paper test" because its still the same real paper just reprinted.
3)If you have a buddy that works at a store, I suggest making a $100, then getting change for it (giving him his share of the cut) Then you will have a REAL $100 and your friend can spread the fake money on the next person who pays in a high amount (receiving $100 in change) or his/her boss can get the fake money. Counterfeit circulation . my sister works at an amusement park and all day ride passes are $50 each. I just blow the fake $100 to her and get change instead of tickets. Then i give her $20 from the cut. Our way of stealing money.
4)Just be smart about what you make. Don't rush.

:::::INFORMATION:::::
CH3COCH3 = Acetone
NaClO = Bleach
H2O2 = Hydrogen Peroxide (3% works best)

I'm some what of a chemistry nerd and i love learning things by their "molecular formula." It sounds smarter and I have to know it if my dream of becoming a chemist is to one day become true

:::::FUTURE UPDATES FOR THIS THREAD:::::
1)Pictures of me actually doing the processes
2)A downloadable video of me doing the processes (since putting it on YouTube and Veoh would violate terms, and would get removed I will put it on sendspace, megaupload, and whatever else)
3)Clearer Instructions
4)Links to all currency pictures

*****THE CHECK BLANKING TUTORIAL WILL BE POSTED SOON. I JUST TYPED ALL OF THIS AND MY FINGERS HURT REALLY BAD SO I'M TAKING A BREAK FOR NOW*****

Basic 419/nigerian scams
Written by slim-ov-derby

Well we all know of these scams, we've all received one in our junk mail or maybe even our inbox (even more so if you are on yahoo). Now I'm pretty sure most of us just ignore them, am I right? Or maybe we bait them and humiliate them for the lulz (because we know dirty nigerians will do anything for money). But have you ever thought about the other side of the scam and from the scammers point of view? Maybe you think it's just an English illiterate nigger making up a lie and then sending it to random people. This is 25% correct, but there is more to it than that.

Literally millions of these e-mails are sent out everyday to many different e-mails, and about 3% of them get a reply because 1) Not everyone is a dumbfuck 2) People haven't got the time. These scams focus on broke retards and an older target audience, maybe those who are retired. But because there are millions of mails being sent out and millions of dumbfucks in the world, you can pull this shit off if you were dedicated to it, and often the reward is large. But you may be wondering how the hell they get hold of these e-mails. This is simple, they use a program called super e-mail extractor (I'll link to this at the end of the text). They can also be purchased in IRC but who the fuck is going to pay for a list full of e-mails when you can get them easily yourself?

Next it's a fact that the more experienced nigerian scammers use SMTP servers to spoof e-mails to make shit sound more professional when scamming. I know of a program which many of them use, this is called super e-mail sender (once again I'll link to it at the end of the text). This program allows you to send html e-mails, attachments with it, spoof the headers and send to multiple people all at the same time, and allows the option of using a saved mailing list textfile.

As you can see it'd be beneficial to have this program to make sending the mail to multiple addresses while being spoofed.

Of course scammers need to think up a scam to actually get people to get dumbasses to trust them; the typical nigerian scam is pretending to have come into a lot of money or some business opportunity and needing someone to launder the cash for them, or needing some cash in exchange to get the plan underway while offering some money into your bank account as well in exchange for using your bank account that you give the details to because you believe you will be receiving thousands in return or maybe if your a dumb meat head you think you'll run off with the cash when they launder it to your account. This is what they want you to think. The other popular one is saying to launder money for them and you get a huge amount for helping them, but they need bribery fees to be funded by you and various other bullshit funds that they'll make up until you get wise and stop sending money, but by now the victim would have already sent a big amount in fees already.

If you're going to pose as a business man you should offer a share of the profits each month, the business gets 60% of profits and the share holders get the other 40% or depending on how much they buy into the business.

I won't give you an example of the story that I've thought up, you should have enough examples in your junk folder and have a good idea anyway if you're anywhere near a good scammer and liar (I'll give a link at the end of the text with a huge archived list of various phishing scams collected that the nigerians have used).

The good thing about this is that we're at an advantage and most of us have the literacy skills to make it sound more professional and believable, which the dirty nigerians don't, other than a google translator.

Keep in mind while scamming the mark, the basics of ANY scam.
1) Don't use your real name
2) Don't transfer the cash straight from their bank account to yours (it'll make it too easy to track back, yes your info is kept safe but it's still risky)
3) Use WiFi and JAP if accessing their bank online.

Now of course once you have got your money or their bank details to bleed them dry you are going to want somewhere to put the money so you don't get fucked. Well despite believes, Swiss bank accounts are not that secure with your information anymore and they know that people attempt to use them for wrong doings and all is secure up until the police are onto you, find records or some shit and ask to see records of money put in and drawn out of your account with the swiss bank; and then you are fucked. Of course you could sign up under fake details (it's advised and most regular scammers do it always anyway), but that is too long and complicated and adds to the felonies if you get caught. This is all down thanks to the fucking millions of tax evaders worldwide. Do not worry though.

Cayman island and other Caribbean bank accounts are the way to go and what some of the 419 scammers operating in the states use. Very similar to how the swiss accounts used to be in terms of keeping your name confidential as well as much other information. You can find these clients in certain parts of your country/city/state or whatever but it is ideal to go to the country yourself and open one up or have a private courier do it for you as there will be less chance of information leaks.

Most scammers have a savings type bank account as they can input alot but are limited to drawing out and putting in sums of £2000-5000 (depending on the bank you are opened up with...do some searching around and research) each month, but you are also at the advantage of gaining interest as well, and can draw out a sufficient amount when needed.

Have more than just one cayman island/carribean account, also have a hong kong account as well to make laundering the money much more secure and for keeping more amounts of money if needed.

I thought I would also add that when people start getting onto you when your scamming gig gets really major that it's wise to dump the info all over large traffic websites such as ebaumsworld, #chan etc where a ton of curious kids or pre-teen kids will fuck around with the info as well and make shit harder if many people have been using the info. Of course don't be a dumbass now, use JAP or any other decent and well configured proxy (of course you have to configure it yourself) and while war driving off someone else's connection. Also if you're joined to these sites, don't use your account, make another one all with fake info such as location, age, username (make it a totally different one to any you use online) this is called data poisoning and will make it harder for them to track you.

These are just the basics of the classic nigerian scam which pays off big if you pull it all off right. I'm going to be looking even more into "nigerian scams" and of course be providing more info.

eBay/craigslist 419 scams
Other than sending out phishing e-mails and money laundering schemes 419 scammers operate ALL over the web where there can be personal information found or where there are alot of buyers, hell some 419 scammers send mail to your house or will send fake subscription forms to your house which will require you to fill out all your information for them to use; but the most popular places the scammers lurk are bidding and and ad sites like craigslist and eBay.

The fake paypal payment
This one is very simple and easy to pull off, find an item you want on ebay or craigslist and e-mail the seller saying you want to buy said item and are willing to pay extra, if they accept then you send a spoofed html e-mail from paypal claiming that the payment has been sent to them, and then the seller will send the item if they're foolish enough not to log in and check their paypal account 1st (a link to a phisher can also be used in this sense as well...although phished paypals aren't much use to anyone anymore). So basically you get a free item of choice sent to your drop address, just by sending a spoofed e-mail from paypal to a careless seller.

Fake cheque payment
This one is easy as well. They look for a seller on one of the sites, offer to buy the item and pay extra for keeping it in storage and then they send you the rest back for shipping. If your cheque is looking smooth enough then the bank will cash it and then the seller sends you the rest of the money back; a few days later the cheque bounces and their bank is in the red while you have your real money which was wired to you. Or they simply send the cheque, decide they don't want the item and ask that the cash be wired back to them through western union.

cheques pretty much have to be cashed straight away so it's the perfect reasoning to get them to hurry up and send you the money back.

The baiting
This is the favourite of mine and is easy and very quick money; all you need is a bait set up (fake sale or auction on eBay or craigslist for something expensive such as a car, laptop or any electronical goods). Have the scammer e-mail you and set up the deal, get him to write the fake cheque in the name of the bum who you're going to get to cash it in for you (or you could just use a friend who has bad credit), have the send it and then get your partner to go and cash it at the bank or wherever, give him his cut and keep yours; nigger boy gets nothing. Just hope they send you a decent looking cheque. You can make thousands off this a month.

There are many others but I really can't be fucked to go into them, these are the basic ones. If you have any questions then ask and I'll answer.

Money wiring: westernunion.com/co.uk
Westernunion: works better than money gram and is easier to convince them to use when scamming on craigslist and if they ask, because you can just mention the security features of the secret question etc; most people will fall for something if they think they'll be more secure. Just say that money gram is what they're mainly warning against if they ask. This site can answer most questions about WU and also will tell you where all your local western unions services are.

Next guide I probably post in this will be a guide to eBay scamming...then probably money laundering after that. May do or post some texts on carding that I've done already.

Metal Scrapping: We see commercials all the time that tell us the price of metal is rising, so why not cash in on it?

What you need:
Some time
The location of a scrapyard/recycling plant
Access to metal scrap (or not)
Some tools maybe
A car to move the metal

Sources:
Trash and dumpsters. Little by little, people throw out metal objects. Scrap the metal from it and leave what you don't need. In dumpsters, you are likely to find even more metal.. and in metal only dumpsters (found at factories or auto shops), you can find large amounts for free.

Construction sites. Steal it! If they're building a new store in town (like they are in mine).. go to town and take what you need. Do it at night and get away with it, obviously.

Abandoned train tracks. Find some ABANDONED (you dont want to kill anyone) train tracks around your town. Have you and a few friends (you'll need them) remove the railing and metal nails that bolt the track down. You'll earn a lot of cash for these things, as they're very heavy. (Remember the movie.. October Sky?) Split some of the cut with your friends and then do it again.

Abandoned (or not) cars.. remove doors, etc etc.. (you should probably smash the windows and remove any other car part with the VIN number.. just in case the car isn't really abandoned and the owner calls looking.)

If you're stealing metal from places, common sense dictates that you rotate the people you sell it to as they may be on the lookout for the "lost goods."

If a half hour - an hour is dedicated to this a few days a week, one can make even a few hundred dollars. Possibly more.

It's lucrative, easy, and metal is everywhere... the trick is finding a lot of it.

Funny.Money.

Everyone spends too much time worrying about getting the ink exact. The trick is, find something that looks very similar and roll with it. You'll need a double sided scanner and double sided printer, which can sometimes be rented for trials from local office supply stores.. if you take your order of prints that look like money to a Fedex Kinkos or something, you're stupid and get out of my thread.

Anyway, test it out until you find the settings that give you a pretty good image.. of course, you'll be testing it out on regular paper..

Once you get something that works, now is the time to start it out for real.

line up 4-6 dollar bills (or 5's if you're not worried about the risen security risk) .. stay away from 10s and anything higher as they're what stores check. They don't give a shit about 1's and 5's. Only line up 4-6 because you're using, probably, 8.5 x 11 paper, and that's all that will fit (depending how you space, etc etc.)

Of course you can't put your final product on regular 20lb paper you get from office max. Now, you'll have to make your own paper.

____________________________
Recycled paper is best. To make your own recycled paper, cut up regular paper, some cotton bits (small ass pieces), maybe some regular money, toilet and tissue paper.. heavy, art paper, newspaper.., and put it into a blender with water. Grind it into a pulp. Roll it out with one of those bakers rolling pins until it is about as thick as a dollar bill or regular sheet of paper (since it becomes very flat, you should only do maybe 2-3 cups of pulp at a time and spread out on a large work surface.. kitchen table should do. Let the pulp dry, and iron it out. It'll take a few tries to get it down and make sure there's enough water to grind it well, but not too much to make the paper fall apart.. take your time and experiment. If you want, you can even die the paper 'money green' with food color, paint, or whatever else you can think of.

Once your home made paper is done, cut it up in sheets (with a paper cutter) that are the size of regular printer paper. Print your money, one sheet at a time. Cut the sheets into their separate bills and feel them out. Do they feel legit? If you want to improve the feel, put some water on the bills, put them in the dryer (on knits/delicates setting and lowest heat) with some fabric softener and some talcum powder. Talcum powder (baby powder) can also be put into the pulp mixture when you blend, it makes it feel a lot more realistic.. people care more about feel than look, especially with 1 or 5.

Take your money and buy snacks and small shit around town, sit on a lot of cash in your house and never carry a lot with you at once. If someones onto you and you get stopped by a cop (saw it on TV) you don't want to have a suitcase of money sitting next to you.

The money you get in return from your small purchases will be legit, real money.

Take your time, experiment, and don't get too greedy.

It's said that the best home-made money ever used the talcum powder method and homemade paper method.

I've stickied this for now and proclaimed it the 'Beta Version' because I'm going to let it carry on as a sticky and see how it flows.

If shit gets messy, I'll create a new thread and input all your guys guides in it, then let that carry on as this one would of done.

Btw slim-ov-derby, I've edited one of your posts (text within code tag) because it was making the page stretch a bit.

Gift card scamming
Written by slim-ov-derby
March 2007

First of all you are going to need to go to a major store that will have gift cards such as Tescos and Costco, or any supermarket store that has gift cards.

This is basically just my method I posted a while ago, and is just really getting a serial number. So it's ideal to do it the way I do it when I want a serial for anything, whether it be to get i-pod accessories, a serial for a game I've downloaded off a torrent, and duhhh...obviously for these gift cards; and that is to have a mobile phone with a camera on it.

Now you just need to get close enough to the gift cards for you to be able to get hold of one or just be able to quickly take a pic of the serial number and any other security numbers and registrations on it. Most of the time they are at the counters so I usually have a friend go infront to buy some items and make out he needs help having them packed; the person on the counter should be busy helping him while you can swipe the card to take away with you to a blindspot such as a photobooth and take the pic of all the info if they haven't got the putty on the cars (most stores have putty on them now).

Just thought I'd add my update to this.

Now of course ALL stores caught on a long time ago about this and they began making it so you had to scratch the cards to get the number, this is simple really, just lift the cards again as usual except this time take them home, scratch them all off and write down the numbers.

Now we want to add 3/4 of milk with 1 cup of sugar, now boil it until it is a nice thick paste, then take it off heat and add some grey dye or whatever colour it was (it's usually grey) and mix it until it is a nice thick paste and coloured to your liking. Get a nail polishing brush and apply a coat of this paste back over the numbers on the cards, this will substitute for the scratchable material on the card, now simply just let it dry; make it as smooth as you can; this may take a little bit of practice to get it to look right.

You don't even need carding skills to pull off this scam because it's so simple.

Now you need to get the gift card back onto the top of the stack of gift cards; you're on your own with this, you can either do it when that till is closed (the cards should still be out) and no one will be around or just have to be quick with putting it back ontop of the stack and hope no one sees you (yes there is a little risk, but there is no scam that doesn't have a factor of risk to it). It is vital that they are at the top.

Now buy some mints or what ever they have at the counter if anything; just get something cheap as to not make it look suspicious that you were hanging around the tills.

Now leave the store and wait for as long as you think it will take (I waited atleast 2 days) before deciding to check the pic of the info I had taken and call them up off a payphone or any phone which isn't mine and ask them if the card has been activated. If it hasn't don't worry, just call up the next day and the next until it is.

Once it is activated, use a proxy (I use SOCKS) or go to a library comp to go onto the website and use the card not present option they have to buy what ever you want.

It is best to do this in large quantities, and at different stores.

Never keep going back to the same store to keep doing it, they will catch on.

you can usually get 2 or 3 cards done at each store if you are good enough.

Of course have a drop location to have the stuff sent to (I will not go into drop locations and how to find one, maintain one and keep one; you will have to wait till the militia handbook if you want to know).

And have a merry xmas or whatever the fuck you're doing.

There is a bit of risk to it all, but there is a way around all of those risks, most of which I have given you ways to bypass the risk.

Some eBay scamming tips coming soon.

During any sports season (or any Gym period during school) go into the locker room, and you'll notice that lots of kids leave their bags on the floor, because they don't have a locker, or are too lazy to put their shit in one.

At least in my school (middle to high class suburban school.) When there's no one in there, make your way into the locker room and just start going through the people's bags, taking EVERYTHING. Cell phones, Ipods, Graphic Calculators, Laptops, just dominate the place.

(It might be a good idea to have a backpack)

Exit the locker room and take your newfound loot and sell it on either Craigslist or Ebay, and come up with a believable story for the things. Be like "I'm selling (insert item here) because I got a new and better one for my birthday, so I thought it might be a good idea to try and make some money off my old one." And don't sell everything at once on craigslist, because someone's bound to get suspicious.

Obtaining Checks

Wait on the corner of a street. Bring with you a bunch of flyers for some kind of "event" or something fabricated and a messenger bag or bag of some kind. When the mailman comes, follow behind his truck, putting in flyers not long after he put in their mail. This gives you the quickest possible way to grab the checks before the owner does. When you spot a check, or something potential, grab it and stash it behind the stack, and continue raiding. Every time your in the clear, stash the mail you collected in the bag. If things get suspicous, just stop passing out flyers and leave. Worst comes to worst, ditch the bag and book it. When doing this, wear sunglasses and a hat. In winter, hat and scarf. You can do this very often easily, depending on what your flyers say. Dont pass out the same flyers again the next day. Advertise another event or service.

Check Washing

Check washing is the process of removing key parts of a written check to alter the amount or receiver of the check.

To remove pen ink from a check, i reccomend using Acetone or Nailpolish Remover. You'll have to experiment.

Now you have two ways to do this, you could submerge the whole check, or go get some of those circular cotton pads and kinda roll it up and fold it, submerge half of it, and try to just wipe off the necessary details. Practice/Experience will tell which works best for you.

***Extra***

Say in all your mail raiding, you happen to snatch a credit card bill. Use the info on the bill to your advantage, and use it fast. You should have enough info to go buy stuff online, OR enough to get the rest of the info. If you got an ACTUAL plastic (your VERY lucky) immediately go out and make a fake ID and max it out.

If you commit a relatively minor infraction, like using a giftcard (as opposed to a credit card)..) online, do you have to go to a degree of caution where you have to use a public computer?

Can a stores database track your computer down after a purchase?

If ur old enuf to buy it,then set up a little business of buying alcohol to minors. Charge 3 or 4 bucks for every $10 item. If ur not old enuf then get a fake ID. Or set up a fake ID business. Or if ur still in school, make ur lil bro pee in cups. Then sell his urine to the drug abusing football team who gets their urine tested for their yearly physical.

jk

Collect cans/scrap metal and sell for cash. For this to be relevant to BI, go to places that work with aluminium and look for their scrap bin. Go back at night and steal it and then sell. Structural aluminium is worth more then the shitty cans. Steel is also good but heavy(ie. needs a car)

Acetone/nail polish remover is basically the same thing. some polish has that nasty shit that get's added for smell etc. just use 100% acetone or whatever the max is and just dilute it

An oldie but a goodie: Paypal Claim Scam

Put something on a site like craigslist or ebay that is in high demand, such as a Wii or iphone. Once the buyer has sent the money to you're Paypal, cut off contact with him untill he opens up a claim with Paypal. The next thing is to fill a box with junk that is equal in weight to the item the buyer has supposedly bought and send it to him using fedex or ups, you get the idea. MAKE SURE YOU GET A TRACKING NUMBER. Give the tracking number to paypal, very soon after paypal will side with you, and you get easy cash while the buyer gets some old junk.

It's more fun going through the dispute though and bursting their bubble by deceiving paypal and winning it.

eBaY Scamming
Written by slim-ov-derby

What this guide will cover
Getting items cheaper (for buyers)
Getting a buy it now button quicker
The scamming

Getting items cheaper
This isn't a scam really because there is nothing really illegal about it. All you really need is a partner or another eBaY account (make sure you use a JAP proxy when signing up with paypal and eBaY for your other account). What you do is find the item you want to buy and put a highly ridiculous bid on it with your 2nd account such as x2 as much as the item actually should be (still using the JAP proxy all while logged onto it and your doings on it) this will put most other buyers off and they will just forget about it.

Last time I did this the get go was you can cancel your bid an hour in advance before the bid ends; I'm pretty sure they caught on (mainly due to me haha) and put the limit up to 24hours (we'll have to do some testing sometime); but the deal is you cancel that bid once all other potential buyers have been put off and it should go back to the original starting price or the price that was there before, then you clear your cookies and turn off your JAP proxies and then you go on your normal account and put in a small bit (I usually put a £1 extra above the starting price); and then hopefully you win the item for cheaper. There is a 50/50 chance of this working now as opposed to the 75% chance it had of working.

Or fatfingers.com

Getting a buy it now button quicker
First of all set up your account as normal (you can even use your normal info, I did and I never had any trouble until I over did the scamming and they started to catch on, but didn't have enough proof because of my high feedback...still very risky though so never get into that situation just because I once did)

And to start selling you must have your paypal verified and your eBaY verified through your bank account/credit card/paypal etc which is pretty straight forward and often requires you to take a call to get your verification number (you can of course have someone else take it for you...I recently took a call for swat [no I will not take anymore calls before anyone asks, it was a one off]).

Now onto getting your positive feedback ad buy it now button; you simply have your friends "buying" and bidding on your items and then leaving positive feedback about you (and you do the same in return to be fair). Of course you're not selling anything and they're not buying anything since they're your friends. You're just making out they are so you can get good feedback from them and be closer to getting your buy it now button. To make absolutely sure your friend wins the bid have him put a ridiculously high price such as £700 on an item which should only really be £200 or so.

To have the story look good later along the way have them "buy" consoles and console apps like controllers etc from you.

Once you keep doing this and have 10+ feedback you should be allowed to place a buy it now button on your sales.

Do not abuse this straight away and keep having your different friends/online friends (militants) "buy" your items and leaving you good feedback.

With only your friends and accomplices "buying" and leaving you positive feedback all the time you should have 100% and a lot of positive feedback, making you look like a fantastic and legit seller.

The scamming
Now with a visibly good reputation on eBaY a lot of buyers are going to trust you very easily.

Really all you need to do is take a picture of the item you want to "sell" (w/ the original box and receipt if possible) with your eBaY username written on a piece of paper in block letters with the starting date that the item was put up for sale (you can get one of your online buddies or real life buds to do this for you as well) for enough "proof".

Make the ad look professional, so do the add up in dreamweaver and list all the item's info and specs.

You should have people bidding and buying in no time from you especially if they see your feedback and reputation as well.

Now you can simply do this 2 ways; you can either go through with them complaining to eBaY/paypal and you winning it, or you can try the double claim route.

I actually have more fun going through with the claim, but that's just me and I love a good argument.

The double claim method is simply you have them buy the item, then you wait for a few days until they get impatient and start a dispute/claim. Now you fill up a box (best if you can get hold of the original some how from a friend or by dumpster diving) with brick to the same weight of what the item you're supposed to be selling would be, get it weighed at the post office and sent off; after you have spoken to the buyer via e-mail or what ever your contacts to him are and explain some bullshit story that it appears he hasn't paid for it for it yet. Fully knowing he has he'll be confused; then tell him that friend of yours who works with internet security says that it's a bug with paypal and he suggests to purge it thorough that the buyer must start a claim and then cancel it to force the money through (thanks MI to this double claim idea). Then just send him the box full of bricks as mentioned earlier; so even if he does attempt EVER to take it further, you have a tracking number etc to fall back on.

Now my favourite way is to just let him buy it off me, get it filled with bricks to the same weight as the item, get it weighed and then sent off at the post office and then have him make a complaint to paypal/eBaY. When they come to my side of the story I just explain that I sent him the item, and then I give them the tracking number. Then I explain to them that I'm afraid they are trying to cheat me out of my money and that I have never had this problem before (my positive feedback from many people explains all for me ;)). I mean eBaY or paypal cannot prove that the buyer is trying to set you up.

eBaY/usually usually always sides with the seller (especially if they have very good feedback).

That's why it's best to do this every now and then with a very expensive item such as a games console) while still having your friends "buy" and leave feedback on your items inbetween actually scamming people off.

The more people you know willing to help you and get their fair share of good feedback in return, then the better. You could keep the scam going for years while you become very rich. It's best to mix and match double claim scams and going through with the dispute in my opinion though.

Use this, but don't abuse this.

As for verifying paypals, the visa gift cards from here used to work for me: http://www.simon.com/giftcard/;I'm (which I got sent to a partner in the states and then he sent it to me and from then on used socks and JAP)...you'll have to look around local places that sell visa/mastercard gift cards (hell SOME Western Union services have them for sale); not sure about now though because I've not touched paypal for a while; eBay isn't really my scene anymore because it can have a lot of paper trail if you're not smart, can't convince the buyer to use WU; and also not to forget the fact that paypal just outright sucks.

Don't expect to be able to keep this thing up for years, at the max 6 months before you have to give up because eBay and paypal are getting wise to you.

Yeah just to make it clear JAP and SOCKS are your main friends when scamming; TOR is a pile of shit anyway (even for downloading CP) but it's even worse for scamming. It's blacklisted by alot of auction and classified ad sites, and it's too easy to set up an exit node, it's a feds best friend they have filth all over TOR.

got some more ideas for cash too, will be posted up soon.

Macaveli(spelledtheshittytupacway)theDon's idea of stealing calculators from school (or walmart) and then selling them.. because "street prices" can get to about $55.00. Pretty good.

I wouldn't steal them from the school as the teacher doesn't usually let the class leave until all calculators are returned.. but the basic gyst is found in the aforementioned thread

Old guide of mine I wrote, I'll update it more when I have more time. I'll probably mention how to rip a dvd when I update it.
Bootlegging operation
Written by slim-ov-derby

What this guide will be split up into
Some shit you may need when bootlegging
Software you'll need
Where to get your shit from
Where to get porno from
Alternate way of getting porno
How to get word around
Making the product sellable
Sealing the deal
Prices

Some shit you may need when bootlegging
Internet connection
Now if you're going to be bootlegging movies you'll need a decent internet connection and speed (sorry Jumbo, dial up users won't have much luck with this ).

CDs
You'll want to get some DVD+R CDs with a decent amount of storage space on it (4.7 GB are the ones I get). You can get a pack of 50 or so CDs for about £10 here but they don't have any cases. You can buy a few packs of cheap CD sleeves like below to put them in though.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v199/manson1996/cdsleeves.jpg

DVD Burner
This is what you use to burn your media to the disks; however most new computers already have one built in. Make sure you get a good one.

External hard drive
I suggest the use one of these because it's good for back up and if you ever get the cops at your door you can easily hide the evidence. This is what you should keep your movies on.

Portable dvd player
Personally I used to just have my customers come to my hideout and have a preview of what the quality of the movie was like; or just take it to their house and play it on theirs. But if you don't want them knowing your hideout or for what ever reason then have a portable dvd player to show them.

Safe or stash box
If you get really big time and have police suspecting you or whatever, then I'd recommend getting a safe for you to stash your burnt disks and your cash. Finding a place to hide the safe is up to you (I hide mine under the floorboards and then screw the nails back in).

Mobile or pager
Obviously for people to get in touch with you so that you can do business.

Printer
You'll need a printer to print off labels and covers for your dvd, to make it look more presentable.

Software you'll need
Divx pro and codecs
You need divx pro and the codecs that come with it, so that you can play all types of films (besides kvcd).

Divx converter
You'll need a program called divx xonverter to turn films that aren't already divx format into a divx.

VSO divxtodvd
This is used to turn divx and avi format films into dvd format, and allows the cd to play on all DVD players once burned with it aswell.

Where to get your shit from
Okay well most bootleggers use torrents and warez websites to get what they need, be it music, films or software.

BUT If you're going to bootleg music aswell (never bootleg just music, you won't get many sales) then it's often most people will want compilations, so first get Limewire pro off a torrent or warez website, or you can get basic limewire from w*w.limewire.com and then download limewire pro by searching it in the programs section (make sure it is not below 5000kb otherwise it's most likely a virus).

Be careful with limewire, a lot of MPAA and RIAA assholes post fake shit on there (same with some torrent sites), so make sure you don’t download files under 2kb or you use peerguardian.

Now onto the best websites for you to search for and get your shit from.

Warez
w*w.katz.cd/
w*w.warez-bb.org
w*w.phazeddl.com/
w*w.infinitewarez.com/
w*w.thesaltinez.com
w*w.kingdom-kvcd.com

Get a premium rapidshare account (it'll make things alot easier, and personally I think warez are faster than torrents with good seeds)...phish one :P

Torrents
w*w.torrentspy.com/default.asp---although it's recently been getting raped by the RIAA, so be careful.
w*w.mininova.org/
w*w.scrapetorrent.com/
w*w.torrentz.com/
w*w.torrentscan.com/
w*w.demonoid.com
w*w.kingdom-kvcd.net

If you use torrents then you'll need a bit torrent client; I recommend w*w.utorrent.com/download.php

Where to get porno from
Warez
w*w.pornbb.org
w*w.fullxxxmovies.net/ The one I use, but it uses mainly rapidshare links.
w*w.iroke.org/
w*w.xxmovies.info/
w*w.unlimitedhentai.com/index.php If you have customers into hentai (pfft don't worry I have customers into necrophilia and zoophilia)

Torrents
You can find porn through most/any torrent, but the ultimate and best torrent sites and the ones I use are:
w*w.nutorrent.com
w*w.puretna.com
w*w.empornium.com
w*w.elitezoo.com (for zoo/beast)

Alternate way of getting porno
Ok, well you know I'm a big fan of using hypercam to take vids off the internet and then often make gifs out of them afterwards; well we're doing the same here except we're not going to change the movie file into a gif. Instead we make it a divx with divx converter, and then we use divxtodvd to make it dvd format.

This should be used as a last resort if you have searched everywhere and can't find it on warez or torrent sites, or if it's just small clips (30mins) and throw them together.

First you need to sign up to w*w.myfreepaysite.com (which is absolutely free of charge, spyware free etc; and the quality is often quiet good).

Now you signed up and confirmed your membership and bought to this page: w*w.myfreepaysite.com/members/members.html

Then click on any of them if you want the short videos which can be from 5mins-over an hour (depending on which vid you choose). Most of them will let you download the vids onto your comp, simply by right clicking the link and then "save as" to download it; and then all you need to do is drop the video into divx converter and then the converted file into divxtodvd and burn it to disc and bob's your uncle. But the w*w.slave8.flashvideotheater.com/main.php?SESSIONID=500465df0300189646893859001846( full length movie) section (particuarly) will not let you download them.

So first of all get hypercam2 from here:
Code:
Download:
http://files.filefront.com/HyperCam_2__rivalZone_rar/;6376558;;/fileinfo.html

Or get it from a torrent or warez site.

Now have Hypercam open in a separate window, and then click the movie you want to get and then click what speed you are to watch it, and then pause it and let it buffer 100% and then open the hypercam window and then go to the screen area tab and then click on the "select region" button and then click from the corner of the screen (of the vid) to the diagonal opposite corner, an then click. Now start the vid up and press f2. Hypercam should now be recording the section (which should be the whole vid) you selected, now all you have to do is wait while it records it (you can not go to any other site or what ever while doing this otherwise it will still be recording, but jsut not the vid and will record what ever else you are doing).

Now once it's finished you press f2 to stop the recording; and the recording should be saved in your documents. Now all you do is drop the vid into divx converter and let it convert, and then put the converted (now divx file) into divxtodvd and let it convert and burn to disk.

This as I said is a last resort.

UPDATE: You could just update your real player and it should allow you to download any vid you want, if not then look around some firefox add ons, there’s tons that will let you download the vid.
How to get word around
Before you even start getting people know about your business you plan to kick off, you should download some classic films already and films which most people at your school like, aswell as the newer films.

This will atleast be giving you a head start and make things easier for you. You should have a list of the films you have in stock, and then when your business has started to get bigger then you can start taking requests.

Way I do it is see what movies people are talking about and bring it into conversation that you can get it them on dvd for a cheap/reasonable price and they should accept. Word will get around when people will want a new film or w/e that you were the guy they got it off. And if it was quick service and good quality of the film then people should come to you. I'm lucky I got kicked out of school (not for bootlegging) before too many people came to me at school. If your still in school or selling then go out at dinner breaks or to the toilets and sell there; or if you see them on the way to school or they live near the school you can call on them and do the exchange then.

Sell to the people who do want it and tell them about it, but don't go telling random people. Word will get around to come to you for pirated goods, depending on the presentation of the disk and quality of the film
E.G DVDrip quality, CD cover, CD case and covers for the case. Quality helps alot.

It's best to keep it in your own age group of customers IF possible (although I sell to all ages)

It's best to sell to the poor type of families (chavvy) who will not care where they get the film from, or if it's a properly retailed. They are usually the type who will not rat on you either, because they're scum themselves.

Keep downloading those movies, even if people haven't requested them. And store them on your external drive and bun them onto discs ASAP and keep them in your safe until needed, same with your cash. You should try to keep your hard drive clean when ever you can. I get rid of shit I don't want with w*w.sys-shield.com/fileshredder.htm (FileShredder)

Making the product sellable
What quality means
Well when you're searching warez and torrents for movies you may get tags or sayings in the title such as "CAM", "TS" or "DVDrip". Well I'll tell you what each of these mean.

CAM
Basically some guy sat in the cinema, with his cam pointed at the screen recording the film while trying his best not to get caught.

CAMs are often fuzzy quality/loss of colouring on the film and have noise interference aswell as visual, from other watchers of the film. Do not download these!

A tip for you bootleggers who record their shit and upload, then a tip is that the movies are usually in the cinemas a day or so before the actual release date (well they are over here anyway). Do not try to record in a cinema on the premier of the film, or even the last day it's in the cinema; but atleast 3 weeks after it's been out and in the middle of the week when it's not as busy. But really, don't bother the quality is shit for everyone and it's not worth the risk.

Best CAMs to download are ones uploaded by kingben666 (he’s on demonoid and kingdom-kvcd)

TS
A telesync is a tiny bit better than a CAM, but not a hell of alot better at all. You just don't get as much noise because they're often filmed in empty cinemas by bent workers in the projection box (Ironically I start work at a cinema on Tuesday , just for some extra cash). Although there's no interruptions the sound can sometimes be shittier than a CAM.

DVDrip
A DVD rip is the final release of illegal movie downloads, it is straight from the DVD that has been released by the movie company yet sometimes these are released a little earlier than when they officially come out, DVD rips can also contain the special features that come with the actual DVD.

They sometimes get leaked out really early though; an example being 300.

Ok well no one wants to watch a shitty version of a film, be it porno or what ever; which has some guy get up in the middle of view of the film just to go to toilet. You should look for DVDrips and .avi in the format or title of what you're downloading. For films I can recommend you search aXXo on torrentspy. All of his torrents are DVDrip quality and are without a doubt sellable and watchable.

Everyone likes colour and pictures instead of just boring writing. So get yourself a front/back cover and a cd label for the film you're selling.

You can get labels and CD covers from:
w*w.imdb.com/
and
w*w.allcdcovers.com/

It just makes the product look more authentic and nicer.

Add an extra 25 pence or 50 onto the price for adding a cover and label for the product.

Sealing the deal
Ok say you get a call from someone or someone asks you to have a film ready for them by tomorrow or in a few days, then tell them you'll get it and then get it.

Now before they go to school or what ever, when ever they are free drop by their house or at a meet place (or if you were like me and had a hideout then have them come round there). And most people often bear in mind it's a copy anyway, so for customer service you can take screenshots of the film, or a photo on your camera phone or whatever cam you have and show that them as proof of the quality before buying and that it works, so you can have no complaints.

Or you can pop it in their DVD or your portable dvd player and let them preview 5 mins of the film so they can see the quality for themselves.

If someone wants to set up a deal to buy off you and calls you up then you will talk as if you're just coming round to watch a movie or return some "tools" or whatever you want. Just don't mention the words "copy".

I would keep selling inside your school to a minimum, and under stairwells if you must in school.
I prefer house calls on the way to somewhere or in a local parks restroom. I never sold on school premises, because that risk wasn't worth it. But I got my word around at school and I sold to my own age group and mostly the lower class ghetto boys, when I was first starting up my business.

Out the back of your car is not a bad idea either, bearing in mind that it's off school site and out of public. I've heard of people getting away with selling at car boot sales but personally I prefer to just do it the way I said earlier.

Prices
Well I live in the UK and people can get pirated movies easily so the prices have to be reasonably low and have decent cases with the covers and what not.

I sell new one's for £3-3.50 +30p if I decide to add on a cover and a CD label.

But those prices are only because of how easy it is to get them over here.

Bear in mind also that the more customers you have, the more you can charge.

For porno I sell £5.20 +30p for a cover and a CD label. I rip the little horny kids off though and sell it them for £10 (whatever the quality is). But you will not want to rip off the older than 12 year olds otherwise you could tarnish your business's good name.

One last thing
It's only illegal if you get caught, it's a quick, easy and usually working way of getting money (depending on if you're stupid or not), so go for it.

Thought I’d give this as well:

This will block bad Ips and well known trap Ips, the list is updated regularly with new trap Ips.

Here are a few tracker ranges you should be weary of:
MPAA Tracker:66.172.60.1-66.172.60.255
MPAA Tracker:66.177.58.1-66.177.58.255
MPAA Tracker:66.180.205.1-66.180.205.255

MPAA Tracker:216.151.155.1-216.151.155.255

To check a tracker, once you’ve loaded the torrent file in your client, don’t download it, go to the general tab and check the tracker url.

If it’s the same as anything from this site:
h**p://fenopy.com/fakefinder/

DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT OR EVEN BEGIN TO DOWNLOAD IT!
The RIAA and MPAA are posting fake torrents and files all over torrent sites and limewire to try and catch you out.

Now more than ever.

Alright,

Here's a guide to make some cash:
Go outside of a chain superstore (such as Wal-Mart)
Find Receipts that have expensive items on them. (Wal-Mart is the best for this because everyone who shops there is too fat and lazy to keep their receipts)
Shoplift expensive items you have found on receipts using a Magic Bag. If you aren't going to use a magic bag then you must find some other way to not maim the packaging.
"Return" your items.

WOW SCAM
By IKCE

1) Do a little research on World Of Warcraft(WOW). Find out what account info will get you the most money. I usually go to eBay and search “World Of Warcraft account” . I then click “highest price”. After I find the WOW account with the highest price; I copy all the account info.

2)Wait a couple days and post the fake WOW account on eBay or Craig list.

3) eBay and Craig list will remove the auction after a couple days.

4) Someone will email you saying something along the following line “I saw your auction for the WOW account before eBay shut it down. Has anyone purchased the account yet?” You then reply “It’s still up for grabs.”

5) You exchange emails with the victim.

6) Tell the victim that you only accept payment via paypal.

7) The victim will send you the money via paypal.

8) After you receive payment wait for the victim to contact you.

9) The victim will send an email saying “Hey I sent you the money when are you going to send the account info?”

10) The following is going to happen

You - “I sent the info already via email.”

Victim - “No you didn’t.”

You - “Yes I did.”

Victim - “You sure you didn’t send it to the wrong email?”

11) Email tag is going to continue until the victim opens a claim with Paypal.

12) The firs part of a claim with paypal is were you talk it out.

13) You can do one of two things A) You can escalate the dispute yourself or you can cool.gif Wait for the victim to escalate it. It doesnÂ’t matter who escalates it.

14) Paypal will ask for all evidence. Send them an email similar to this.

“I sent him the account info via email. He’s probably trying to scam me out of X amount.”

Receipt Scam
By IKCE

This is a very old scam that you've probably read about maybe you've even tried it.

There are two methods "The Classic" and "The Modern"

The Classic Receipt Scam

Steps

1) Go to a Wal-Mart (Or any other store).

2) Buy an Item.

3) Now after you purchase the item go home and drop the item off.

4) Wait anywhere from an hour to a week.

5) Go back to the store with the receipt. (Don't bring the item)

6) Walk to the aisle were the item is sold.

7) Pick up the exact same kind of item (Double check the barcodes just to be safe)

8) Now go to the costumer service line.

9) Tell the clerk you would like to return the item for cash.

Now you got a free item

Modern Receipt Scam (My personal favorite)

1) Go to the Wal-mart parking lot (Or any other store)

2) Look on the ground for receipts. (Try to find one that was payed with cash)

3) Once you find a receipt go inside the store.

4) Go to an aisle were the item on the receipt is sold.

5) Pick up the item (Double check the barcodes just to be safe)

6) Go to the customer service line.

7) Tell the clerk you would like to return the item for cash.

Now you got some cold hard free cash.

3) Once you get the item in the mail tell the seller that you received it.

4) 45 days after you sent the victim the money file a dispute with paypal saying you never received the item.

5) After you file the dispute escalate it to a claim.

6) The victim will be completely surprised.

7) With a little bit of luck the victim lost/misplaced/threw away the tracking number and when paypal asks for the tracking number he can't provide it.

30 - 40 days Scam
Created By: IKCE

This is an extremly simple scam that anyone can do.

1) Post something for sale on Ebay or Craigslist.

2) Once you got a victim tell them it'll take 30 - 40 days to ship. (This is going to be the hardest part but if its a good enough deal the victims will be willing to wait the time.) (You'll need to convince the victim that your company is based in China and after customs, tarrifs and other bullshit it takes time or sell custom made items that take a while to make.)

3) Have the victim pay you via paypal.

4) Keep in touch with the victim.

5) After the 40th day the victim should start getting worried about the package. Tell them that its running a little bit late and that it should be there within a week.

6) After the week when the victim emails you tell him to "Fuck off"

7) He'll try to open a claim with paypal only to realize that its been over 45 days. (You must open a dispute within 45 days of payment otherwise the deal is final)

That was the final one I tried before scrapping paypal and eBay scamming all together, unfortunately he'd kept the tracking number saved in a textfile on his computer or some shit. It's still a good one but it has a 50/50 chance.

As for receipt scams I'd say it's easier to do the 1st one and buy the item of your choosing (some people aren't stupid enough to throw out a receipt for a TV incase they need to take it back themselves). Also a good idea to make an identical barcode (with barcode magic or any online barcode maker: hxxp://www.scansecretary.com/online/index.php) to the one on the item you bought and slap it on the item in the store that you're going to be getting your money from, will make it look more legit.

LWAI, ever thought of doing some 419 type scams on eBay/craigslist/gumtree?

i didn't read everything so sorry if this has been listed.

Printing Fake Checks.

You can print out your own checks that will scan at stores for $40.
What you do is go to an office supply store and in there software section you can buy various check printing software. Versa Gold makes a nice starter pack for $39.99. It comes with the check paper, software and the mirc magnetic ink. Then all you need to do is go home install the software on your computer and take an old (empty) ink cartrige and fill it up with the mirc ink. Steal some checking acount numbers (thats up to you) play around with the program getting everything set up and you're good to go. I'd recomend printing on regular paper then holding it up to the light with check paper over it untill you get everything aligned otherwise you'll waste a bit of paper.

Now the big question, What if they ask for ID?

well for this you'll either need a fake ID or another alternative is at your dmv if you can get your hands on the paper that you fill out when getting an ID just grab a stack of it. At my dmv they have the paper right out where you have access to it so you can fill it out before you get up to the desk to speed things up. Around here it has to be stamped to be offical but most workers in stores and gas stations don't know that and will accept it as a form of ID. All they want is the DL number. Works great.

So now all you have to do is get yourself a check book and fill out a fake register load it up with your new fake checks and go start buying. A good item to buy for quik cash is cigarette's around here there about $42 buchs a carton. If you tell your friends you have cartons of name brand cigs for $25 they jump all over it (unless your friends are broke/cheap) i wrote 100's of checks last year and my yellow dmv reciept was never questioned once. but make sure you switch account numbers every few days otherwise they'll catch on and they'll flag when the cashier scans them. JUst get a number print the checks write them all right away and then start on the next account and if shit seems fishy at the store and they want you to hang around just bolt.

enjoy!

I really like the Double Claim scam. Sounds good.

I have a question about the receipt scam. Can't they scan the item and then the receipt to see if they match?

And they will match.

Next time you go to the store grab to boxes of the same thing. See if the barcodes match. (they will.)

And if they don't you can always slap on a homemade barcode, it's what I'd do.

no, they won't. Paypal has no seller protection policy on intangible goods, and they will side with the buyer. Regardless of saying, "via email."

the other scams seem legit though.

you're a fucking idiot. Its not like one day i decided to make up bullshit. This a widely known scam that works.

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/useragreement/ua/usua-outside

13. Disputes between buyers and sellers - buyer protection programs.

1.

13.1 buyer protection programs......

these programs only cover payments for tangible, physical goods. all other payments, such as payments for intangibles, services, airline flight tickets, classified ads on ebay or licenses and other access to digital content are not covered by any buyer protection program that we offer (but may be covered by chargeback rights).

no, kid, i'm not just assuming or guessing. I speak from experience. I'm probably a lot more familiar with these types of scams than you.

Look at your quote. At the very end,
quote:
(but may be covered by chargeback rights).
you overly defensive piece of shit, just because you have access to your mom's verified account doesn't make you a paypal scam guru, you know absolute shit about the system.

Seller protection policy
quote:
A chargeback is covered if it was due to non-receipt of merchandise, or an unauthorized payment. A reversal is covered if it was due to an unauthorized payment. The seller protection policy does not cover claims for significantly not as described or for non-receipt of merchandise, or sales of intangible goods, services, or licenses for digital content.
especially if he files an unauthorized transaction claim, which any half competent buyer would, it's %100 guaranteed that he will win the claim. 100 fucking percent, every single time.

So shut the fuck up and show some respect, son. I've got more years of experience than you've been alive.

hahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahaha

you think you have more experience with paypal scams then me mother fucker you don't know who you're talking to

i can gurentee i've done more online scams then you. Anyone who was a member of tm could verify. (anyone there before i left. I was known as ikce on the site)

1 - chargbacks - only work if the fucker used a credit card. Most people buying wow accounts are 16-20 and don't have credit cards or simply don't know how to do a chargeback. But then again anyone can do a chargeback for anything.

2 - unauthorized transaction claim - only works if they didn't use an ip address already associated with the paypal account. Since they didn't think they were going to get scammed in the first place this wouldn't work. Also if they filed an "item not received claim" they wouldn't be able to open another claim

3 - paypal always sides with the seller in integrable objects - if you noticed theres neither buyer nor seller protection...so who do they side with....the seller. Thats how the scam works. We've (scammers) have learned that they side with the seller in intagable object claims.

4 - if you don't believe me try it out. I bet you you'll win. (if you've already tried it out and failed your a fucking idiot)

learn something here acolyte. I know what i'm talking about. You're talking out your ass with zero experience in intangible object scams.

I don't want to hijack this thread any further so if you want to argue more my aim is legalwithani

as a practice, paypal always sides with the buyer in intangible good related disputes, as they're not protected by either policy. The seller can not provide online tracking information to show the item was sent, because it's strictly virtual, hence the refunds.

It's not something that is debatable, as it's literally something i deal with daily and if it weren't this way, most of my scams wouldn't work..

But i will take the rest to aim.

This is too good of a thread to fuck up with these arguments.

Thats not how the scam works. The scam works because the person does an item not received claim.

Carding RS gold
Written by slim-ov-derby

This is really fucking simple yet it can be a big money maker with little to no effort.

All you need are:
CVVs
SOCKS (if you're lucky to know some carding contacts or can find anyone in IRC then you can get an account at anyproxy.net...and no I'm not selling or giving away mine)
Runescape gold seller (search on google, there's tons)

All you do is get your CVVs either through IRC (at your own risk) or get them yourself get on your SOCKS loaded, clear all your cookies etc and then use new SOCKS in a state to that which is of the CC holder and then go to your website that sells runescape gold and then buy it in batches of millions to a dummy account that the person you're going to sell the gold to should have set up.

Some of these websites use google checkout, be sure not to be stupid enough to use your own g-mail account, so either phish one beforehand or make one quickly with the same proxy beforehand.

Just fill all the CVV info in where asked and checkout, then go to the order status to see if it's been charged and shipped, go back to the website you bought the gold from, go to live support and give the order number and have the order delivered in game.

Obviously the person you're sending the gold to will either send the money through moneygram or western union, or even easier paypal (make sure you're verified), the shit thing about paypal is it's easy to get limited and you can't do it as often as you'd like to where as with moneygram and WU it's a different thing, you can do it as often as you like as long as you don't go to the same western union/moneygram all the time. E-gold was actually perfect for this op because you could just resell the gold for e-gold and later cash it out.

Sell each 1m for £1-2, because you're selling in batches (I'm talking hundreds of million in RS gold here) you can make a fair amount of money.

almost forgot to say if they ask you for verification then make a fake back and front CC scan in photoshop. I have an image of the mastercard globe hologram here, so unless you can get a decent copy of the pigeon on visas then I'd just stick with working with mastercards, hell they're easier to work with anyway (I lost the image I had due to pricks fucking around with my flash drives...tell a lie I have one but it's very small and not that great). There are guides all over the net on making fake CC scans, I'm not doing all the work for you, fucking google it. I gave you some shit to start you off with the front though with some fonts included:

Warez sites, skiddy crew websites, runescape forums.

Keylog a decent RuneScape account and get their RS bank pin as well (why you have the screenshot option on), then change the security questions 6 times and change the password, sell account or do a double claim scam with it repeatedly (easier to do if you actually have the account so there's no excuses when they ask to see in game).

Or alternatively keylog an account, change the questions 6 times along with the password, sell it and then hope the buyer doesn't change the security questions that many times, after a while after they've levelled the account up for you then answer the secret questions and then change them all again 6 times, then sell. Have someone else do your work for you so you can profit more.

I've done this a few times.

Runescape is still a big money maker as I've shown in my last textfile and with this little idea.

This has worked for me a couple of times in the past. I can't remember the name of the scam but it works.

Go to a convenience store where an old woman is working, or a young kid. It is preferable if it is a busy time during the morning; 7am is very good for the more popular stores as this is their busiest time.

In your pocket have the following cash:

NINE $1 bills
ONE $10 bill
ONE Extra $1 bill in opposite pocket

Put the $10 bill on the BOTTOM of the nine $1 bills. Go up to the busy clerk and buy something small, like a 5 cent piece of gum. As he is ringing up the gum or whatever, Ask if he can give you a $10 bill for all your $1 bills. Pull out the stack of cash and HOLD it in your right hand. Look away as if you are distracted (this is almost required, it allows them to focus their mind on giving you money, trust me). Make sure they give you the $10 before you hand them the stack of money. As soon as you get the $10 in yoour hand, put it in your pocket. He will count through the money and realize there are nine $1s and one $10. As soon as he realizes it, pull the $1 out of your other pocket and say "Oh, just make it a $20 then". I'd say almost 9 times out of 10 the clerk will hand you a $20 and completely forget about the $10 they just gave you.

The trick is to keep their mind juggling more than one transaction. If you misdirect their attention, they will always end up giving you extra change.

Just a quick & easy way to make $10 for gas.

UMbrella scam

This scam is fairly easy and can make good money if your willing to put the work in.

You cant do this everyday so take advantage when you can. Watch the news and weather reports to know when its going to rain alot.

First you get a bag A backpack or a shopping bag big enough to carry at least 10 umbrellas. Then you go to an apartment building. If the door is locked just wait for someone to come in or out. Or ring some random bells to get buzzed in.

As some of you may know when it rains people leave their umbrellas outside in the hallways to dry. This is your chance to snatch as many as possible. I like to take the elevator to the top floor and work my way down. Stop at every floor and pick up as many as you can. If your lucky you can also find some nice sneakers and other expensive footwear.

Now your ready to make some money.

Go to a train station or bus stop. Where ever you see people taking shelter from the rain you go up to them and sell some umbrellas. You can get anywhere from $2-$5 for each umbrella you sell. Depending on how nice it is or how much of a sucker the costumer is. You can make up to a $100 in one rainy day Depending on how many umbrellas you collect.

You serious?

I'll add something about barcode scamming, don't fucking put ridiculously low prices on the item you want to barcode and don't put the barcode of a totally opposite item on another one (example a box of screws on an iphone). Find a cheaper version of the same item you want to barcode and put the cheaper one on the more expensive one.

Personally I'd find getting ipods, 360s and ps3s easier by carding or doing snatch and runs, as snatch and runs applies with food as well (well not exactly running, just bag it up, put in trolley and leave, they don't have tags on food)

Do craigslist. They'll delete the ads some time later so leave your e-mail in the ad and when it's deleted someone will still get in touch with you.

Use http://www.wowarmory.com/ to your advantage.

It would be easier to not give them an account at all, if you give them the level 3 they have a valid claim to raise against you.

UPDATE: You could just update your real player and it should allow you to download any vid you want, if not then look around some firefox add ons, thereÂ’s tons that will let you download the vid.

Best CAMs to download are ones uploaded by kingben666 (heÂ’s on demonoid and kingdom-kvcd)

Thought IÂ’d give this as well:

I was thinking of doing something exactly like the WoW character scam that someone posted earlier but should I just post it in Ebay? I will have plenty of information to convince the fuckers that I have the account and then can I just give them some lvl 3?

Edit: Shit aint working, ebay wont let me post it up there -.- God damnit

Yeah, you have to obfuscate a bit because blizzard made a claim against them. Anything including "WoW" or "World of Warcraft" is taken down. Apparently people were installing the game and reselling it.

Scamming WoW Accounts

First make a mail account at http://www.mail.com ending in @usa or @europe.com.

Second make a Youtube video similar to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzkpgjfKUcc
Make sure that it has an official-looking script and the script in the description of the video.

Wait for a while for views to pick up!
Theoretically after a few months you could get 3 a day!;)

Siphoning Gasoline

Why the fuck would you put gas in garbage cans, thats just stupid. 5 gallon gas cans are EVERYWHERE and easy to spot, I stole 6 in a day back when I was driving. And sometimes they're full. :D

If anyone is intending to siphon gas, ignore the 'tard I've just quoted and his garbage can bullshit.

Just get gas cans and one of these (8.99CAD)
http://www.northerntool.com/images/product/images/169473_lg.jpg
You can get hose from Canadian Tire/whatever for under $5 and as I said above, gas cans are free and easy to find. Also if shit happens and some random sees you siphoning its way less suspicious than a fucking garden hose. I've talked my way out of it a couple times. Very professional looking.

Places to find gas cans:
Backs of pickup trucks
Camp sites, especially boating places
Quad/dirtbike trails (check quad trailers)
Peoples yards
etc.

You could probably get over $200 worth of gas in a day if you tried, the trouble is it only works if you don't stay in one town. Great for road trips though.

ALSO - If you're in a rural area, most farms have large gas tanks which often aren't locked. Just check and make sure it isn't diesel.

Check ALL stolen gas to make sure it isn't oil mixed/diesel first too.

last summer i lived in a town of about 800 people and for 2 1/2 months didn't pay for gas once.

awesome places to hit are construction companys. I had one 2 blocks down the street from me that had a few older 70's-80's chevy 1 tons with flat beds. I'd go with 2 6 gallon cans and fill 1 up of each truck walk back to my place fill my truck and repeat as nessesary. And with the construction trucks who's gonna notice 6 gallons missing out of a 40 gallon tank.

I have personally made my paypal and ebay accounts any neither contacted me by phone. Ebay sends one of those "confirm by going to this link" emails, so thats simple. Paypal is a little different. When you link your account to a bank account paypal makes two small deposits into your bank account, and by small i mean link 0.XX dollars. You then have to find out what those two deposits are and enter them on the paypal ebsite to confirm that the bank account is infact yours.

The Mom and Pop Shop Scam

This is an extremely easy short con that seems to have about a 50/50 success rate from my experiences. All it requires is two scammers working together, an item that can be passed off as having value, and a little bit of acting skill.

The Setup

One of the scammers goes into a small, locally owned and operated mom and pop shop. You are looking for a place that has the same person working behind the counter on a daily basis. This plays a crucial role later on in the scam. Any small mom and pop shop will do, but I seem to have a lot of luck with this scam at antique stores. Scammer #1 browses around the shop casually for about 20 minutes. Suddenly, he begins to panic and searches around frantically, pretending to be looking for something. After about 5-10 minutes worth of searching, the shop keeper should ask the frantic customer what is wrong. At that time, the scammer's acting skills come into play. The scammer tells the shop keeper that he seems to have lost something worth high sentimental value in the shop ( i.e his grandpa's gold pocket watch that was given to him 10 years ago after his death.) The scammer explains that he is in a rush as he needs to be somewhere. He tells the shop keeper that he may have lost the item in the store. He states the importance of the item to the shop keeper and offers a $500 reward if the shop keeper happens to find and return the item. He leaves behind his phone number and name in order for him to be contacted should the pocket watch pop up.

Next day, Scammer #2 goes in and as he is browsing through the store, finds the watch laying somewhere. Excited by this find, he informs the shop keeper ( it has to be the same one who was made aware of the $500 reward) and tells him he plans to keep it. It is at this time that the shop keeper, out of his own greed will usually offer money in order to buy the item (thinking that he will cash in on the $500 reward later on). The scammer requests $200-300 for the item as he is a pocket watch collector and values the item highly.

Conclusion

After scammer #2 has collected the cash, he leaves the shop and splits the cash with his accomplice.

The shop keeper of course was given fake details and a fake number. The retail value of the pocket watch was no more than $10-15.

This scam seems to work well a lot of the time as long as Scammer #1 truly makes the shop keeper believe that he will receive $500 in exchange for the item. This scam completely relies on human greed in order to take advantage of the mark. He thinks he is getting a great deal and will be profitting $200, but all he winds up with is a worthless pocket watch and a debt.

Scamming Hippies: The Rave/Jam Band/ Festival Scam

Some of you from tM may remember me posting this scam there a while back. Unfortunately after it went down, I was not able to recover the file so I have re-written it here to the best of my ability.

The Setup

Ok first you are going to want to search the internet for "Blotter Art". You are buying essentially the same thing that LSD is soaked in, but without LSD. Buy a sheet of blotter paper with cool designs on it. It is perfectly legal to buy as art. Try to spend no more than $10-20 on the sheet (as the less you spend now only increases profit later.)

You should get 900 hits per sheet for most of the blotter art sold on the net. After you have aquired the blotter paper, you are going to have to search the newspaper, internet or look for flyers about any upcoming Jam band tours, raves, Festivals or other gatherings in your area where there will be a large amount of dirty, smelly hippies and raver kids in one spot. The more drug use, the better. Phish shows, Dave Matthews band tour, Raves, Small jam bands, and festivals all work perfect for this scam.

The Scamming

Go to the event with your blotter paper already pre-packaged in various packs. Just wrap the hits up in some aluminum foil with each pack containing a set amount. Sell 1 hit for $10 and offer deals on 5-packs, 10 packs or bulk packs.

Now, you are going to want to move quickly here if you are working solo. If you are working with accomplices, you should each have sheets with different designs and should not allow anyone to know you are in cahoots. From the time you have sold your fist hit, you have about an hour to sell as many as possible before a mob of hippies will be flinging hummus at you and bitching for their cash back.

The effects of LSD take about an hour to kick in, so sell as much as you can to various hippies and get out after an hour. As far as selling the hits, all you have to do is walk around saying in a loud, but not yelling tone of voice "Lucy here." After about 5 minutes, the hippies should be on you like bees on honey requesting to buy up your bunk paper.

It helps if you choose an event that is about an hour away from your home to lower your chances of being recognized. Also, feel free to sport a fake rasta wig, sandals, a tye dye t shirt and a hemp necklace. Of course you'll look like a fag, but it only increases profits as the hippies will automatically identify you as being one of them (and not an undercover cop.) Also, disguises make your escape much easier and decrease your chance of being recognized.

Possible Risks

If you don't get in and out rather quickly, it is likely a large swarm of hippies will be attempting to track you down. Luckily, they are usually pacifist bitches who won't wind up doing much more than bitching. Still, I prefer to tail it out rather quickly.

Obviously, the bigger risk is if you were to sell your hits to an Undercover. Fortunately, they are extremely easy to spot. The guy standing in the corner at the rave, not dancing or talking to anyone? Undercover.
The guy at the festival extremely desperate to buy something and acts sketchy, requesting many details? Undercover.
If you have any experience in dealing drugs, you will easily be able to tell who is an undercover. Avoid them like the plague. If at any time things seem to have gone sour or gotten sketch, take your profits and leave immediately. Better to leave with less cash than to wind up in a jail cell.

If you are a complete fucking moron and somehow manage to get caught , it is unlikely much could happen to you, assuming you refuse to speak to the police. When the state crime lab analyzes the blotter paper, it will come back as nothing, and your lawyer can easily make the case that you were selling the blotter art for novelty purposes as a form of art.

Conclusion

If done properly, you can easily net anywhere from $1-5 K in a single night running this scam. If you have multiple accomplices selling different paper, the profit will only be higher.

I have walked in before, sold the whole sheet in under 10 minutes and left with thousands.

Before any of you bash me about the ethics of selling fake drugs, remember that this is BI. I assume you've left your morals at the door.

Anyone with half a brain buys some legit blotter before the festival, not off some random hippie when they are high as fuck.

There have been old ass hippies running this scam for years while following the Dead around.

Ok I need help with the WOW scamming, this is hat has happened so far.

-I listed the account on craigslist
-The buyer and I emailed back and forth until he purchases the account over paypal for 300 USD
-I then ended contact with the buyer until he filed a paypal claim, but instead of "unreceived item" he filed "unauthorized" so Paypal put a hold on the money
-Paypal asked for tracking information on the item so I did signature on delivery though USPS since paypal requires it on items over 300 dollars. I mailed four discs said to be the "account" and PayPal is reviewing it as we speak.

What do you think will happen, who do you think will win?

hmm, well I'd try something like an arts and craft store, or a headshop. You could even make something yourself using photoshop and filters.

to do it easy should just google image search it, find some "trippy" pictures, soak a piece of recycled cotton paper in diluted soap-water, print the "art" out, and perforate the paper into 1/4in. squares.

An 8.5x11 piece of paper will yield a little over 1300 "hits".

you should probably portion it out into 1,2 and 5 hit packets for sale. At $10 a peice for 1 and 2 hits, and $40 for 5 hits, you could easily make $10 grand in a night selling a whole piece of paper

I'm going to say your pretty likely to lose. Unauthorised use ones are a bitch.

Unless the victim is a moron and uses the same IP on the Paypal account, then they'll see it and give you the win.

And I think you need to make sure they know it's an intangible item, that will slightly help your chances.

ChoppedandFaded those are some good scams, pretty creative too...only problem I see with the Mom n Pop Shop scam is the guy saying "You found that in my shop, it's mine" and not mentioning that someone claimed to have lost it. Maybe instead of finding it in the store the 2nd scammer could pretend to find it right outside, then figure out a way to let the shopkeeper know he found it...talking with him a bit then nonchalantly bringing it up or something to that effect. Then negotiations could go from there.

Yes they will get the name on the account. A fake sending to real is better, but yes they will both have to be verified. How much money are you talking about?

This is an intresting idea.

But whats to stop the shop keeper from claiming its his watch? Or claiming that the watch is for sale at his shop?

Yes they will get the name on the account. A fake sending to real is better, but yes they will both have to be verified. How much money are you talking about?

like 50-1000$

To remove pen ink from a check, i reccomend using Acetone or Nailpolish Remover. You'll have to experiment.

You won't remove parts on checks with that, you'll just fuck the borders up and render your check suspicious.

You need to "suck" the areas you want to change with a cotton rod soaked with Methyl Ethyl Ketone.

that's a ton of scams, nice! the barcode one looks kind of promising, has anyone had any success with this recently?

If you have a consignment store in your city that buys clothes, you can do this really easily and make a good amount of money from it. You might want to take in a basket of your old clothes first, just to see what they accept or don't accept, to save yourself some trouble. I noticed that the one in my area is very partial towards brands like Roxy, American Eagle, Abercrombie and Hollister. What I do is go into goodwill and try to find these brands, buy the clothes, and resell them at the consignment store. I can buy a pair of jeans in the aforementioned brands at goodwill for $2-$3 and sell them for $7 - $10, depending on the condition. Anything the consignment store doesn't accept gets returned to goodwill, so I don't lose anything besides about an hour of my day. On good days I can get back 5x what I spend, on bad days, double. It's a really easy way to make some extra pocket money without doing anything suspicious.

Exactly. You can definitely just take clothes from donation bins. The only advantage in purchasing is that a lot consignment shops are choosy with the items they accept, and that's where being able to buy selectively comes into play. Goodwill also has sales where certain colored tags will be 50% off on random days. Today I lucked out, because the sale happened to include A LOT of jeans. Jeans are awesome because they can each get me up to $10. Today I spent $20 at goodwill and sold the clothes to consignment for $75.

The Mom and Pop Shop Scam

Conclusion

After scammer #2 has collected the cash, he leaves the shop and splits the cash with his accomplice.

What if the store keeper looked for the missing item all day after scammer one leaves, isn't it likely he would ask the second scammer where he found the item? If you can't come up with an area of the store the owner hasn't already looked he will think somethings up.

In the United States and Canada, if you quit public school and pursue education in private school or homeschool, the government will pay you.

There's usually a limit of about more than a grand, Here, in my province, it's $1,500.

But you must provide proper reciepts of what you have bought, then they'll refund you accordingly to each product.

One could easily buy things, get the refund from the school, and return the product to the store. Thus doubling one's money.

I know how the refunding process takes place because I have first-hand experience with this.

Call your city/province/state's education department and ask what your options for homeschooling or alternative schooling are. Or check their website, but I would call, instead.

Yo guys don't bother trying double claim scams with paypal anymore, they changed it so a week needs to go before it can be escalated to a claim.

Paypal sides more with buyers than sellers now and is only really good for chargeback type scams; so do scams as a buyer.

Example buy some clothes, when it comes keep the clothes but fill the bag with compost to the same weight as the clothes and then do a chargeback on your card, if it's disputed then show pictures of the bag filled with compost and say they never sent the clothes and were scamming you.

Any other scams dealing with paypal are useless unless you're phishing and have full info on the person you're phishing (not too hard to get).

BTW heard Kulsh needed to contact me.

Double post, oh well sue me.

The "mum and pop shop scam" would work better in a bar or restaurant I'd imagine, it's not everyday you lose something in a store besides your wallet if you're drunk.

For those asking earlier about the WoW scam, I'm assuming you're using paypal (I always advise against paypal unless you're a buyer and want to do chargeback scams); find someone legitimately selling a WoW account (hard to find I know but they're out there) take it, do a chargeback, keep the account, sell it quickly before the butthurt original owner grasses you up to blizzard. Actually take the account and then resell it and THEN do the chargeback.

I sent you an offline MSN message, once again my apologies for the delayed reply.

As to not steer off topic I'll mention a very old yet simple scam that can still work, depending on how much you tweak it to your liking. I actually pulled this off today, after a hard day at work a nice dinner was in order.

I just bought what I wanted and asked for the bill halfway through eating it, went to toilet after eating it and switched bills on the way back with my work colleague who just had a pint.

I called for the bill half way through eating because they usually now show you the bill and then expect you to pay straight away (if you're on your own anyway, if with a group just say you're working out who's chipping in what amount), so just told them that's all I was having while half way through the meal, got the bill, then carried on eating. Also gave more time for me to wait for a different waiter to come on than the one who served and billed me.

A lot harder to pull off these days, but with a little bit of tweaking it still works.

If it is an antique shop, one could find the watch outside, ask the shopkeeper if they buy antiques(while conveying that one found the watch outside). Then you go from there with negotiations.

Oooooh hahaha! Ive been thinking of just running into staples, taking a video card, and running the fuck out of there...I'm sure the spider wrap thing makes a wailing noise or some shit if you try to walk out with it, because it has a little speaker....hmmm. Thoughts?

I could make a magic key, that would probably be a better way to do this...

Hmm...I think I'm going to write a tiplist/guide for shoplifting and other scams that includes current information. If I write it, I'll see if anyone here will host it/link it on this or another sticky.
As for chase, the best way to find tags is to *look* at the item you are stealing. On DVDs and video games, they are usually inside the box/jewel case/plastic holder. Generally, they are small, rectangular, and plastic, usually black or white in color. Simply peel it off with your fingernail and hide it somewhere it won't be found, such as behind another game or item on the shelf. Books and some other items have large, flat, square paper sensors. Those are more difficult to pry off, but you have to carefully peel it off with your fingernail. Try to pull it slowly and smoothly - don't jerk the sensor or it will rip and leave shards on the item. Nice and easy does it.

On clothing, the sensor alarms are usually in one of the pockets or inside, behind the tag in the collar/waistband. The ink containers are more difficult to deal with, and I don't mess with those...you have to ask someone else for help on removing them. I hope this will help you somewhat.

at some supermarkets they sell potting mix in those big bags, you can easily slice a hole in the end and take some dirt out, and fill it with dvds and anything really, leave it in your trolly when you go through the register because they usually have them on their computers. if you are worried about it beeping maybe buy some cheap bateries because if it beaps on the way out just flash the batteries and they will think its that.
