Default barcoding at walmart

someone at walmart trying to pay $59 bucks for a new computer with a barcode label, the cashier caught on and an associate from electronics peeled off the barcode and scanned in the right price in front of the person trying to buy it. The associate said "someone has decided to put a upc from a dvd player on here" and the price is $799 and then the guy doesn't want to buy it, walks out as the associate takes the upc label to an office and radios back something on the way to the office. If found out like that should the person not go back to any walmart and try that again for a long time or just not go back to the walmart found out at for a long time? anyone here work at walmart that can give any clues as to what that associate did with the barcode once in the office?

What a shitty idea. No cashier in their right minds would fall for that shit.

Mabey this would have worked if you would have brought a fake coupon too, dick.

"But the coupon says $59, too."

"Oh, ok."

Why would you put a DVD player barcode onto a computer? Kinda a stupid idea...

If you are caught like this, you can go back. You did nothing wrong legally if they didnt catch you in the act. Plus, even if you are banned they wont give a fuck you go back. Trust me, SWIM knows.

My advice is try scamming some guy into letting you work manual labor for him. Then stay there, do the job, make $10 an hour, and never try a scam as dumb as that again. Because you are lucky you walked away...

My advice as to your question: Never return to that store agian, and never NEVER try something that dumb again.

You fuckheads.

He said it was someone else. Not him, someone else. For people who easily call someone else stupid, you should learn to read.

He may have been retarded. But at least he didn't put the PC barcode on a DVD player.

Society might still have a chance!

Hell, if you're gonna go that far, why not just use the UPC from a bag of Fritos?

"Yeah, you see here sir, this eMachines computer is so shitty it only costs 99 cents. Oh, it says 'FRITOS' on the register? Umm... yeah... that's the code name for the computer. You wouldn't understand."

I thought of that! And I did it too until I got kicked out for filming their "sensitive" material...what bullshit.

Oh, and my friend plans on pulling some jackass stunt like this. Basicly, he wants to barcode something like a pack of gum/fritos like the previous poster described onto something like a mp3 player. If it works, we laugh, if it doesnt, go jackass stunts. Personally I think he's a fuckin retard, but hey, all in the name of good entertainment.

What on earth are you talking about cockblaster? Some of you were calling him (the poster) a dumbass for using a DVD barcode on a PC. I pointed out (rather fuckin rudely) that he wasn't the one who did it, but someone he saw. I have no fuckin clue what the fuck you are talking about.

Ok I"m going to set you all straight on this issue. I left out the fact that this upc scanned in as 12 in sub because it was from a pioneer subwoofer for a car. Wont name if this was me or someone else doing this trick but point is if you go up to some dumb dothead etc or make sure its an older woman alot of times this works as long as it doesn't show up as like a bag of fritos. If it says just 12 in sub on the register for $59 alot of times they just ring it up because they dont know what 12 in sub means and they just look at the total and take the cash and you're outta there with something kick ass for next to free. Believe me lots of cashiers are dumb
