So I figured we needed a new topic, and I misread the "surviving prison" thread, and throught it would be fun to have one about poison. I am not a poison expert and will not pretend to be one. Could anyone typical poisons and their remedies? specifically one for purified nicotine would be fun.

DEPENDING ON THE POISON:

If its a bio-reactive chemical like if some one should drink way to much alhohol or eat too many shrooms the best thing to do is to stop chemical absorbtion i.e. puke/pump stomach/drink an absorbent like activated charcoal/milk.

if its an all around hazerdous chemical like acid your only options are pumping the stomach.

If its an animal venom or a designated poison chances are it works by a very spcific method like destroying the nervous system or causing cardic arrest meaning your really going to have to have some VERY hard to get chemicals or medical knowledge to really make a difference.

The best advice for most, NOT ALL poisonings is to saturate the harmful chemicals with inactive ingrediants like I said, activated charcoal is a good choice after that milk/ water are alright even bread will slow down a "hangover" (a mild alchohol poisoning symptom).

I must stress poisons vary GREATLY and doing the same thing may be incredibly destructive when used on another poison.

The best thing to do is to take precautions to not get infected in the first place.
