You all probably know the idea of requesting free samples from big whole sale companies. I was wondering two things: 1. When does this become fraud, eg. when you say you work somewhere you don't or if you say you are interested in buying 3000 laptops when you make 350 bucks a month?

2. What success have those of you who have tried this had? I know a guy online who sent out 15 requests, we will see what percentage return.

Erm, you should say something like, "I need a sample, as I'm deciding on whether to buy your products in bulk". That way, it's not fraud at all. If they send you a laptop, nice job, now go get me one fag .

As for saying a fraud company, try going online on IRC and find a hosting company thats looking for people to run Tech Support. They can vouch for you.

Thanks Kakka, but I am talking more down the line of free car audio systems, DVD players, ofice supplies, etc. Not a company mousepad.

I began the sample collecting last night. Sent 30 emails to distributers, just saying that i was interested in purchasing like 2000 units, blah blah. So far I have gotten 3 replies, not very promising. I guess companies don't really like to pay $20 shipping fees to mail samples to random people... Damn. I will update if i get anything from this.

UPDATE: It worked! A really nice LED falshlight that would have cost me $25 is mine free. Didn't even scam them, of commit any sort of fraud, it was all legal. They even said I was a very good business man. If only they knew I am just a 16 year old shit head...
