Have any of you guys tried that ripping off change machines technique where you rip a notch in the dollar and its supposed to reject the dollar and give you the change? I tried it today several times and it did not work...

Worked once for me kinda, i did it and the soda came out, and as i went to grab the dollar, it sucked it back in. Fucking this shit doesnt work.

I believe there was once a scam where you sandwiched a dollar bill between two thin peices of trasnparent plastic. When the machine sucks the bill in you can yank it out and it will take the plastic sheets and give you a dollar credit. Haven't tried it yet but it is on my to do list.
