Default Tubular locks

does anyone know how to bypass a tubular lock without spending 60-70 dollars for a pick? Also, if someone does have a pick are they any good?

I have no clue what the hell you're talking about. Post this in 'Bad Ideas' for a better response.

Well...if you want to go the quiet way, you can do any of the following.

1. Pick it. This requires that you have a tubular pick. The pick does not have to cost 60 dollars, however it is pretty close at around 45.

2. Drill it. You can buy a drill peice specifically for drilling out these locks at online lockpicking stores. They run for under 30 dollars.

3. Pull it. I have heard of people attaching a chain and pulling, using a car to pull, and even a slide hammer. I am not too familiar with this method however I do beleive it requires drilling or something similar.

If you dont need a quiet way.

1. Hammer/chisel. Some of the cheaper tubulars can be simply broken off. This does not apply to most vending machines however.

2. Explosive. For a quick way, usually for the expert however. NOT recommended.

3. Crowbar. On most vending machines you can bypass the lock all together and crowbar the bitch open. Read other vending machine threads for this.

I've never heard of anyone manually bypassing tubular lock stealthfully. If you have some extra cash on you, this may help.
