styrofoam
I just thought I would let everyone know that when you burn styrofoam the smoke is carsonogenic, which means that it changes your cells and causes cancer. So if you value your life, don't make napalm out of petrol and styrofoam. Or throw your stubby cooler on the fire for that matter.
I suppose this topic could be used for warning people of 'Bad Ideas'where chemicals are concerned.

Re: styrofoam
Napalm Bombs and more attrocities in Iraq:
first, What I remember about polystyrene: As I recall, 'Styrofoam' is the Dow Chemical Company trademark name for Polystyrene. Polystyrene is manufactured in different densities depending upon the manufacturing process, typically expanded polystyrene of low density, 1-lb./cubic foot, is white in color, sometimes called 'Beadboard' because it is made by expanding tiny polystyrene plastic beads with hot steam in a mold. Large ingots are made (4 ft. x 4 ft. x 16 ft tall) and these are cut into boards for insulation etc. by using a 'Hotwire' which is basically a piano wire with an electrical current going through it to heat up the wire and it cleanly cuts through polystyrene with very little pressure applied.
Expanded polystyrene is used for things like polystyrene coffee cups, packaging products, and low density insulation boards.
Extruded poystyrene is more dense, stronger, and has a smoothe surface and a higher insulation value. It is usually colored blue (Dow) or Yellow (Celotex) or Pink (I forget who makes that)resistance to heat transfer(insulation) and you will see these used as rigid insulation on the sides of buildings.
The dense polystyrene beads or crystals, before they are expanded, may be the form that is used to make the heavy military Napalm Bombs, but I am not sure.
Here is some information on the large Napalm Bombs that were used indiscriminently in the US Invasion of IRAQ as the Marines were approaching Baghdad. This was just in the news yesterday. They are classified as 'Dumb Bombs':
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/mk77.htm
From that page >Napalm is a mixture of benzene (21%), gasoline (33%), and polystyrene (46%). Benzene is a normal component of gasoline (about 2%).<
>>The US Department of Defense denied the use of napalm during Operation Iraqi Freedom. A rebuttal letter from the US Depeartment of Defense had been in fact been sent to the Australian Sydney Morning Herald newspaper which had claimed that napalm had been used in Iraq.
An article by the San Diego Union Tribune revealed however, on August 5, 2003, that incendiary weapons were in fact used against Iraqi troops in the course of Operation Iraqi Freedom, as Marines were fighting their way to Baghdad. The denial by the US DOD was issued on the technical basis that the incendiaries used consisted primarily of kerosene-based jet fuel (which has a smaller concentration of benzene), rather than the traditional mixture of gasoline and benzene used for napalm, and that these therefore did not qualify as napalm.
==========================================
Maybe this is why they are classified as 'Dumb Bombs'

Re: styrofoam
Heres how the army made napalm in vietnam.
Get petrol. Add dishwashing detergent (the green kind that is a liquid) until it turns jelly like. It then burns at 2000 degrees farenheit. Styrene was often added to make it sticky, but they did not add so much as to make it pizza doughey, where the petrol would stop absorbing the styrene.

You have to be the FATTEST DUMB FUCK I have ever come across, drinking diet soda isn't the same as breathing in carsonogenic smoke you stupid, stupid fuckhead.
If you had ever made napalm you would of known that it produces a shitload of smoke and weather conditions can blow it anywhere, so how about you don't hit reply unless you know what you are talking about shit for brains.
The purpose of this topic was to inform people before they run around making napalm, because some people would like to know whether what they are doing could kill you.
You really are a fat fuck, go back on your diet like your mum's been telling you. Your not tough, your just a shy obese pussy that would never stand up to anyone.
Your done.
