Has anyone actaully tried that scam where you post a topic about mailing lists and tell them to post $1 to them?

I am just wondering if anyone had done it.

Please describe this 'scam' in more detail...are you referring to some sort of Ponzi Scheme?

basically, this scam is you goto newsgroups and start a new thread like MAKE MONEY FAST. then what you do is tell the person to send $1 to the mail ist saying PLEASE ADDD ME TO YOUR MAIL IST YOU ARE NUMBER ___ and get rid of the 1st address and replace it with theres. Then post it and then they say you should get money and make like $10,000 a month.

These scams are proven to work. However, since they have been done so much they no longer work on anyone. Your chances of success with something like this in a newsgroup or forum is almost none. Then again, if you can be creative and apply this in a different way either via telephone or mail, you can possibly make some major cash.

If you put hardwork, and time into keeping the thing going, then you could make some possible money.
