Reference page. There's about a metric assload on the TOTSE archives. Check it out. Last machine I tried this on ate my dollar and the tape stuck to the lip of the cash insert slot. =P Anyways, does that still work? On older machines, or what? Thanks!

why don't ya just take a whole puncher, and punch a whole in one end of the bill, then tie some string through??? i have no clue if this would work, but, just a suggestion

there is no possible way that this would work but it's a novel idea. the string would rip the dollar. the machine takes your money and puts it in a special box, even if your money was made of kevlar you couldn't get it back out

i tried this out about two weeks ago on a coke machine, and it didnt work. it took the dollar bill in alright, but it wouldnt come out, the tape broke. maybe it would work if packaging tape was used instead...ill try it out.

it's not really a matter of what kind of tape is used, it's more a matter of timing. but yeah that clear tape, not magic tape, scotch tape is stronger and lasts longer before it wears out. i know because this was probably my main source of income in high school. get the 3/4 inch scotch tape i think it's the 3M kind with the red label. put the tape on the dollar about 1 1/2 inches down the dollar so it will hold it then tape the other side so it doesn't stick to anything. can't put tape too far down the dollar or it won't work in any machines. the hardest part is finding a machine though. there's still some around if you look at an old people's home or some nicer apartments i'm sure there's some left just have to look. i'll describe what to look for in another post cuz i'm tired.
