Golf Cart Theft
Guide by: scuzzy-elo 2003
Introduction
I don't know how they are set up everywhere but at the golf courses I go to, when you are done with your game you can drive your cart to your car to unload then return it to the club house.
Materials
Vehicle (that can hook to a trailer)
Trailer (with a ramp to load something large with wheels)
Procedure
If you can't figure out what to do, here is the procedure.
Acquire a trailer that can hold a golf cart sized load, from someone you know or by other means. Hook the trailer up to your car.
Go to a golf course, far from where you live, pay for a game and apply for a golf cart. If you are asked for some sort of identification, then I suggest you end the procedure right there. However, if all they want is a last name to call for tee time, then provide them with a fake name and wait for yur game. When they call you in, they should give you the key to a golf cart and a score card. Now you can do one of two things:
Play your game
Take the cart
After you play the game you are going to take the cart but it's up to you if you want to waste the money on the game and cart rental and not even play, though it may pay off in the long run.
Drive your cart down to your car, drive it onto the trailer, drive off and don't go back.
Other Ideas
More than likely, the keys they hand out will be universal for all the carts there. When you get finished with your game, just keep the key and don't take the cart. Get copies of the key and go take a few carts later on. Obviously you would need other friends with trailers as well.
Alternately, after you have acquired one cart from the first plan, get the key copied a few times and continue to take carts from the course every once in a a while.
Notes
If you are particularly paranoid, wear a disguise and keep a few golfing gloves handy.
Also, after you get a cart, be sure to paint over the numbers or any type of identification on the sides, top, and bumpers.
Remember to try to park as far away from the club house as possible.

all golf cart key i have seen are universial and most can be started with a screwdriver its not complicated however every course i have ever played has asked for ids if your going to rent a cart and almost all of them require you to be 21 in order to rent the cart an additional problem arises with charging the batteries which uses a specialized plug youd be better off taking someones new set of taylormade RACs if you had to steal from a golf course just leave my damn clubs alone!

any golf course i have ever been to never asked for any id and now that i think of it there are even several places to leave the course, like after you golf 4 or 5 holes just go through the bush and it will lead to a road, i have been to the road before just screwing around and you could get a friend to meet you at that spot and load up and take off.

at the country club that i go to, its like in a neighborhood and a lot of us kids drive our parents golf carts to the pool from our houses and i mean all ez-go golf carts use the same key so sometimes we will just go put our spare key in someone elses golf cart and drive around for an hour and they dont even notice when its gone, so i mean it would be easier to jack a golf car from a country club rather than public course because you dont have to mess with the drivers liscense and registration.

You can always take a screwdriver, go to the golf course at night and hi-jack them.

i think the easiest thing to do would be find someone driving in a cart, and when nobody's around, knock him out and take the freaking cart. oh, and just for the sake of it, put a case of empty beer cans next to him

Re: Golf Cart Theft
Most of them are like tractors. Place a screw driver up the ignition and your off.
The Mafia used to do this when they had no other alternative.
