Best Long Term Revenge Ever
Ok, here's what ya' do. Give your mark some radioactive jewelry. Maybe a nice little ring for a girl (its bad to be mean though, so only do it if they are crack whores), or a gold-plated chain for the wiggaz. Go find yourself a gieger counter, and hit the markets. Goto 3rd world countries or any place where dirty foreigners sell shit (i'm not racist or anything, i'm just tellin ya' where to find that sort of shit). Things to look out for: Glo-in-the-dark paint from before about 1965, old flourescent "exit" signs, old x-ray/mri machines, jewelwry (that the geiger counter picks up on), old mine tailings, etc. Bring a lead box with you so you can carry that shit with you w/out worry. That paint is radioactive, so paint it on tons of shit and give it to your mark. For example, paint it on a t-shirt, their backpack, watch, whatever. Sometimes those MRI machines have little radioactive bits with them. You MIGHT be safe going up to it for a minute or two. Don't touch it with your hands though. Personally, I wouldn't touch something from one of those unless I was in a full blown lead suit. Anyways, glue the little beads of uranium and shit onto a chain or necklace. Those glowing exit signs sometimes have radioactive paint and shit in them, bring your counter. Here's the best idea though. Some jewelry made by retards in poor countries are made of very radioactive uranium ore and shit. It will be old and expensive now, so bring lots of money, be prepared to pay about $50 or more if the owners know its old. Or you could buy some shit at like a flea market or at a market in another country for like $5. Another way is to buy uranium ore. That shit isn't too expensive, prolly bout $35 for a fair sized peice; maybe $20 for a potent jewelry sized piece. Anyways, get that piece and mount it on a jewelry fitting with some gel superglue or epoxy. Another way, but this is kind of mean, is to have a lapidary person/company cut it out all nice, I believe its called cobbing, or making it into a cabuchon or some shit. They will make it all nice and shiny, and mount it on a ring. Some of them will know what it is and wont do it; if they do it will be really expensive. Thats mean anyways. Try to find some idiot in Indonesia or some shit. They will do it cheap, and are prolly so fucked up already, and won't even notice the effects of radiation. Don't feel sorry about screwing them over. They'll probably be telling you they're putting it on a gold mount, but its prolly just plastic shit painted gold. DO NOT DO THE COBBING YOURSELF. First of all, it will be crappy, second of all, radioactive particles in your lungs will kill you. If someone is doing it for you, and knows it, make sure they wear a lead apron with a heavily leaded glass shield. Also make sure they have a self-contained air supply while they are working. While carrying that shit, wear lead gloves. I don't know where to buy them, but I know x-ray techs have them, so try a surplus medical supply store.
Anyways, give the item to your mark. If its nice they might wear it for the period of a couple years. They'll get cancer or some sort at around 40. If its to a guy and really radioactive, maybe they'll be sterile. Once they get it, it'll be VERY hard to find the perp. It will be years later, and they prolly wont ever find the source, besides, the item will most likely be long gone. Be sure to give the item anonymously. Make up some serious love letter, girls usually find that secretly flattering and will keep that shit forever as long as you dont sound like a stalker.
Hell, on the subject of radiation, maybe make some radiactive bullets. Fill the tip with the radioactive dust left over from the lapidary process. Don't use lead, make the slug out of tin or brass or some shit i don't know. I think that the US used radioactive tank ammo in gulf war, didn't they, or was that tank armor. Anyways, don't fire the gun yourself, use a string and a mount to fire it. You'll get radioactive particles embedded in your skin if you fire it.
BTW: If you are thinking about flaming this, shut the hell up and go talk about your ultimate revenge: "throwing dog shit at them", and "beeting them up".

Re: Best Long Term Revenge Ever
Great idea! I'm gonna go buy a kilo of uranium and a 2000 degree smelter so I can get back at my neighbor who stepped on my flowers!

Re: Best Long Term Revenge Ever
In response to the flames:
The content in Bad Ideas is meant to be somewhat theoretical. Flaming isn't necessary
In response to the actual content:
That is one of the most creative revenge ideas I've ever read. However, you would need some cash to go from country to country like that and for buying radioactive materials. Still, good job on the creativity. Most threads in Bad Ideas are lacking new ideas with imagination, just questions about topics that have been covered in the past.

Re: Best Long Term Revenge Ever
Here's some ways to get radioactive materials. A story actually, but it has some good info.

Yeah, there were a couple of quotes that supported my orinigal topic. Here they are:
"David learned that a tiny amount of americium-241, a radioactive isotope, could be found in smoke detectors. He contacted companies that made smoke detectors and said he needed them for a school project. One company sold him about 100 broken detectors for a dollar each."
"In the back of the clock he discovered a vial of radium paint."
I didn't say the shit was EASY to obtain, and I didn't say you could just go up to a store an buy it. Some chemical suppliers do carry uranium ore and other radioactive elements, but your best bet is to go to old buildings (might find those smoke detectors or paint on the exit signs). The truth is, there is quite a bit of radioactive "junk" out there. There are reports that are published that document alot that does missing. Read some of that shit to get ideas. And the reason I said that the radioactive jewelry is often in other countries, is just because they aren't as educated, and many of the craftsmen just use local rocks (uranium ore) or whatever they have. I'm sure there is quite a bit in the US and Canada, but most of the documented radioactive jewelry is found in "poorer" countries.
Like I said; if you don't like that idea, go make some taco bombs and have fun egging houses and throwing burning bags of shit on doorsteps.

Re: Best Long Term Revenge Ever
There was a Nova show on PBS about "dirty bombs", it had some nice info. Can't remember much of it though. Something about industrial electric meters... cesium in hospital dumpsters...
See if you can rent a copy from the library.
