ok go around to houses and say your doing a raffle tickett for your church trip to go to mexico or some state say something like "we're with "christ church" and we're going a tip to mexico to tell about god we're wondering if you would buy a raffle ticket for 5 dollars for a chance to wint a 52 inch big screen tv.. or some shit liekl that then write down the ticket number you gave them and the imformation.. you can also ask for donation.. go to business thats where the big money is

make up a church name cause if they go to that church then.. well who knows tell me if any one has any other pointers

man we did that shit at the age of ten except it was a baseball team instead of a church. Thats been played out in my town and people dont buy raffel tickets from anyone anymore.

15-30 seconds (at least) for someone to reach the door after you ring it.

~30 seconds to give them your situation

5-10 seconds for them to pause think about it

30-120+ seconds of discussion/questions.

30 seconds to go inside and get out the checkbook (or cash), and then possibly more time added on to explain that you can't accept checks.

15 seconds to fill out information

5 seconds to exchange goodbyes

15 seconds to get to the next residency (assuming you are in a residential neighborhood).

You also have to factor in

People eventually coming to the door and saying no as soon as they know it's a raffle (very likely that you'd get several of these)

People not answering the door

People listening a little and then saying no

Averaging in the time taken from no-go's plus time taken at every house that signs up for the raffle, I'd say 5 minutes per house. Way beyond what you stated, even if we're assuming you spent twelve hours straight going door-to-door.

Don't get me wrong, though. I actually consider this to be a good idea with absolutely NO risk of getting in trouble. And yes, you could make quite a hefty sum of money from this. I think you may have exaggerated a little, but this is still a decent idea regardless.
