Does anybody know where I can get my hands on some liquid nitrogen? Do I need a license to buy it? Is it expensive?

There is a Chicago Welding Inc. that opened near my house and there is a big white tank with blue lettering that states: liquid nitrogen and another tank that says liquid oxygen. I don't know how that helps you but eh'.

if anyone knows where or how to get liquid nitrogen, it would be handy knowledge for anyone.

Yeah prob is I never figured out how to get nitro out of those things. I think all the connectors are for filling and all the ones that aren't go into that building.

im sure if you did a google search you could find something... im too lazy to do one now.

check out stuff at school.... schools have all kinds of ways of getting cool stufff..

see if you can get your school to buy some (and then steal the paperwork)

or get one of those kiddie science shows to go to school -> they most always liq.N2

and steal it from them, or ask them how they get it

You can steal small amounts from doctors offices. Used to remove warts, moles, and other body deformations.

Freeon also works while attempting to freez some things.

some computers require that u use liqui nitrogen to cool, cuz they are so fucking overclocked and heated up just check some shit out on the internet, like from google type "liquid nitrogen cooling" glhf

I dont beleive you need a liscence to purchase liquid nitrogen, however they will definitely ask you why.

You can say that you are going to perform a science demo in front of your school....levitation? Superconductivity?

You can say you are superclocking(this a word?) a computer and you own a website dedicated to overclocking. Show them a printout of your liquid nitrogen cooled computer setup if you must.

The reason these people want to kno why is because they fear for your safety and how safely you will be using their liquid nitrogen. If you prove to them that you will use it in a safe way, they will more than likely give it to you. Just be nice, polite, dress appropriately, and you can get some. However, you must also remember that this stuff is COLD, as in you need a special container for it. Dont forget that or they might just laugh at your ass...or they will offer to let you borrow one.

Oh, and one last thing. Make sure you go to the smallest welding shop before heading to the bigger ones. The small ones will usually hear out your story and give you some in perhaps a steel thermo.
