I would say Jason Becker skill wise, but personal preference would make me take Paul Gilbert.

Jimi Hendrix by far. He wasnt a manufactured guitarist he played his emotions on guitar and simulated shit like bomb blasts, machine guns, confusion, danger, etc. Lots of guitarists are faster and sound better but they dont attempt to make you understand what they are playing about and Jimi would.
