I had one of the best dxm trips a couple of weeks ago. I finally tried zicam, did some nitrous with it and smoked some weed. That shit was intense, I actually had an OBE I think, It seemed like I was floating up to my ceiling while looking down at my body laying on my bed, weird shit.

What are the negative effects of dxm? I space my doses out like a month or at least 2 weeks usually can I still get hppd and other negative permenant side effects?

i dosed 400mg twice,3 days apart.and the second time i had just a good 1st plateau.i can usually dex twice within 3 days and still get the same effects...

2 weeks apart should be no problem. I trip once or sometimes twice a week and I've noticed no negative side-effects. Once every 2 weeks is a safe schedule IMO. More often than that can start to generate risks. Long-term effects may include things like depression and a generally spaced-out feeling.

DXM should not be taken with anti-depressants. If there is/are MAOI(s) in the product, that can lead to very serious side-effects. Your best bet is to ask a doctor if taking a cough medication is safe with your Zoloft.

ive done DXM maybe 5 times. i can barly walk when at 2nd or 3rd platue but one time at the st platue i could walk and do everything normal and it was rather fun, but anther time i was at the first platue i couldnt walk or stand or anything. so my question is can u walk/preform normal task when your dexing?

Personally, on second, I can do everything just fine (aside from some poor coordination, robo walking is just too fucking fun, and the fact that my eyes lose their focusing ability so damn quick).

I can walk and perform tasks just fine at doses of up to 600mg. I can talk just fine at doses of up to, oh about 300mg. At 900mg, I was able to walk, but just barely. I wasn't able to do much else however. I weigh 160lbs.

I always post the sucrets extraction method. Just in case you're too scientifically stupid or just to lazy (like me) to figure out how to do the agent lemon extraction.

Extracting DXM HBr from Sucrets lozenges



Sucrets lozenges are a good and very cheap source of DXM. They can be hard to find, though. When you do find them, you should be aware that they come in a blue bag, not in a tin (just as stated below). Each bag contains 20 lozenges with 15mg of DXM in each lozenge. In total, each bag contains 300mg of DXM. Here is a method on how to extract DXM from these lozenges. It was submitted by ^Diámoñd^.

To extract DXM from Sucrets is very simple. First of all, you must make sure that you have the kind of sucrets that are in the bag (they say dextromethrophan HBR) , and not the little tin. To extract, first you must crush up the sucrets (20 per bag) and put them in a cup or bowl of warm water. Then put the cup into the microwave, and continualy let it go for 1 minute intervals, stiring in-between, until the sucrets are totally dissolved. There should be a powdery looking substance on the bottom of the cup or bowl. This is the DXM, because DXM Hbr is not water soluble. From here, you can do 1 of 2 things.

That means for every 100ml of water at room temperature, 1.5g of DXM HBr will dissolve in it.

1. Siphon the excess water out of the cup/bowl leaving the powder behind. Then take the (probably wet) powder from the cup and put it into a liquid (orange juice, etc..) and Drink UP!

2. Take the whole thing (water included) and dump it though a stack of coffee filters. Then take the coffee filters and put them on a plate, and microwave it till the coffee filters are dry. Then crunch up/scrape etc.. until the now dry DXM falls off the coffee filters. Now you can put the powder in empty caplets and swallow.

Woolah! you have pure DXM HBR

Note: This is not freebase, just the pure DXM Hbr powder.

I'd like to add that it is possible to obtain pure, freebase DXM, by doing just what Syd did, but with Theraflu thin strips.

I can walk just fine up to doses of about 250mg. More than that, and I get the robowalk more and more as I go up in dosage.

Once I get to about 500 mg, the ability to do normal tasks is greatly hindered, as my thought process is completely rearranged and just generally doesn't work in a logical way.

And then once I get to 750+, just about everything seems impossible (I CAN struggle to move, if it's required, but I look like Quazzy Modo [Spelling?] when I do it). This varies however, as I've had one trip on 600 mg where I couldn't move at all through the majority. It was a REALLY fucking memorable time.
