| Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, making beer, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Please try to keep your conversations "theoretical" in nature, since this is an open conference. |

Thats right I quit smoking. I've been a smoker for the past 4 1/2 years. I've ranged anywhere from 3 cigs a day to 2 packs per day.
Its been six days since I've had one. Its true that the first three days are the toughest. After that I've had no cravings. Those first few days however I drank a ton of red bull and played hella video games.
Positive changes- I feel a lot more relaxed and not so restless. I'm more calm and not so short with people. Its sort of like a fog has been lifted, no pun intended.
Anyway, I've just seen too many smokers have health complications and die at a young age.
This isn't any propaganda, its just my experience and personal message to those out there that want to quit to let them know its possible.
Peace

More power to you.
But this really doesn't make for a thread.

Yeah dude, i've been smoking cigs for probably 3-4 years now, but I woke up kinda hungover after drinking some hard liqour last night.. and I haven't smoked a cigarette yet today. So i'll probably make a joke about quitting, but I know it wont happen. because the cravings are starting to suck.
