I've had a "cheap vaporizer" for some time now, and could never get it right, how do you guys use yours (if you have one obviously)? How much do you put in there? How far do you hold the flame? Pictures would be awesome, the websites that sell them aren't enough for me, I still don't get it. Usually it smokes cause it got too hot, or just nothing (as far as effects go) happens.

You only need to put the equivalent to a very small bowl in your vaporizer. Make sure that you grind the bud up really well so you have the maximum amount of surface area (easier to vaporize the THC in one hit)What I do is plug up the opening to the vaporizer, and run a lighter about an inch under the glass, till the vaporizer is filled up with smoke (can't see through it). Remove the plug and take a long, deep hit. Plug it again and hold that in your lungs as long as possible. If there is any green left, repeat.

How long do you hold the lighter under it? What do you plug it with? and does the "tobacco" have to completely "fill" the tube, or just lay along the bottom of the tube?

The "tobacco" should be spread out as much as possible on the bottom of the vaporizer, (again, more heated surface area). It should vaporize within 30 seconds to 1 minute and the lighter should be about an inch away, like I said. For a plug, either use a twist off 2 liter bottle cap or a rubber stopper for the glassware kind.

Should I be able to see the vapors? Will it look like smoke, or thinner?

what exactly are you using for a vaporizer?

lightbulbs work pretty decently.

you have to make sure you hold the flame at least an inch or lower below whatever youre using or youll end up burning the bud.

you just want to heat it enough for the THC to vaporize.

You have to hold the bulb above the flame, never let the flame flicker onto the bulb. You'll know when you've messed up when carbon builds up and the underside of the bulb turns black, that's not good.

Try to keep it as clean as possible and make sure that you're weed (marijuana) is finely ground up. Not kief fine, but much finer than you would find in a bowl, basically just enough so that if you break it apart any more it would just turn into pieces of pieces of bud instead of just pieces of bud. (confusing...)

Get a good candle or a few bic lighters.

Drop the stuff in and hold it over the flame, watch for when the weed (cannabis) starts to crinkle up as it heats. As this happens vapor should start to form in little streams circulating around the edge of the bulb. You do not want to go passed this. Just keep this very slight, very thin, and very *white* stream of vapor going and slowly by slowly it will build up and fill the bulb, notice there will not be any smoke produced if you do this right so the bulb should still be see through just not perfectly clear. It shouldn't be yellow, or filled with smoke.

Take the hit through a straw either off the flame or while it's still being heated.

If it's still being heated the influx of air and renewed circulation will usually cause the rest of the weed (delta-9tetra...etc.) to go up in smoke(vapor) and will give you the rest of your hit.

Hold that it for about 15 seconds and you'll be ready for another. You should only need about 5 packs max and the packs should only be a fraction of a gram.

Don't burn the weed, in fact if you want to do it right you can just empty the bulb after every first hit, just put it in a bag or a small container.

When your stash is gone you'll be looking for a buzz to put you to sleep at night, the leftover browned weed will be nice either in a bong, or in the vaporize if you feel like dirtying it up by burning up all the weed into smoke. It works, but it's two different highs, there is *high* chemicals left in the weed that you don't use only it's the stuff that you have to smoke to get it really isn't the same as when you simply vaporize, the hits are clearer and the higher is...higher?
