The only sleeping aids I know of over the counter are, the stuff thats in benedryl, and valerian root. Valerian root is much weaker, but if your sleeping problem isnt to bad its worth a try. Only 2 bucks a box for the tea.

2-3 Benadryl always knocks me out. Get the pills though, the syrup tastes awful, as do the pills if your unfortunate enough to bite down on one accidently.



In all honesty chemical sleep aids should be used as sparingly as possible. Just drink a glass of milk and have a wank if you need to catch some Z's.

Melatonin is an excellent sleep aid. It's a natural chemical that occurs in the human brain when we feel tired. Excellent semi-homeopathic method, I reccomend trying this first.

Other OTC sleeping pills could be diphendramine (Benadryl) and Dramamine.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

^Had that shit happen to me when I was parachuting hydrocodone. Broke open in my throat, and I had shit in my throat for the next week. It sucked.

Benedryl will take anywhere from a half hour to a little over an hour to kick in. Just take a couple, lay down, and watch some tv. You should be out in no time.

Hmmm, Don't know what OTC is but I always use NyQuil works like a charm takes about 30 minutes. If you wanna get high off it take a swig when you feel tired fight it and 10 minutes later, weeeeee

Go to dollar tree and get a 24 pill container of valerian root extract tablets. (The ones I buy have alot of other shit in them, like catnip extract and orange peel extract. They only cost a dollar. Well take 3 or more. The first time I took them I took one and the next morning I was dizzy as hell. If you use benzos I would take alot more than 3 of them though. Fyi you are supposed to take 2. They take an hour to kick in.

In Nyquil.

Yes, its an antihistamine, might be better off with just grabbing those boxes of DIPHENHYDRAMINE for children, double the dose and they'll dissolve in your mouth...no sticky pills as you try to sleep.

But...I always had an aversion to melatonin.

Yes!

DOXYLAMINE SUCCINATE!

It can also be found outside of nyquil, in pills. The brand I know of that has them is called Unisom, but there's probably others.
