I am new to benzos, and know jack shit bout em. What would be a good Lorazepam dose for a new user?

I find lorzepam inneffective at such low doses. I wouldn't take less than 6 to 10 mgs, but no more than 12 first time. Wouldn't want you to pass out and miss the effects.

If this is your first time i'd take it easy, from my experience at least 1 in 5 or 10 people is hyper-sensitive to benzos... you wouldn't want your body to become jello and slide off the couch onto the floor and then get videotaped as you lay there in a comatose state... like a few of my less-fourtunate friends. Take 2mg first, if you're ok then take 6 the next time and you'll really be fucked.

Some people like me/the pharm (I suppose) have ridiculously high tolerances to benzos. My father is prescribed to Restoril (temazepam) and I can take 4 10mg pills and still drive normal. People who are nervey and anxious usually will take one pill and fall on their ass.

It depends on what kina person you are.

temazepam is one of the weakest benzo's out there, 40mg is like 1mg of xanax.

and pharm is right, try 5-6 for your first try.
