Ok I've been researching and it says that phentermine acts as an amphetamine. So does that mean that it has any rec potential? I ask because I need something to help me focus in school.

Go watch the movie Requiem For A Dream. I am sure once you have seen the full film you will have second thoughts on using diet pills for rec use.

Yes, phentermine, or adipex-p does have some recreational value. It is a CNS stimulant.
