i was visiting a friend around atlanta, and he gave me some shit he called "syrup". it seemed to me that everyone was drinkin this shit. i drank about half a cup, and i dont know how much later, but i felt kinda dizzy. everything was in slow motion. there were trails...and i felt numb....

it was a purple liquid and it kinda tasted like cough syrup. i think i heard someone say it had liquid codine in it or somethin.

does anyone know what this stuff is, and how i can make some?

so true, but i know a lot of people that can get syrup easier than pills. my friend had a rx for like 1-2 months. yeah its just codeine syrup.

alot of black people down in the south drink it, its just cough syrup,the dxm is what fucks you up.

i doubt it had codeine in it,youre friend probaly wouldve kept it for himself if it did

dude i live in memphis,the shit they drink is not codeine syrup its just regular tussin with dxm in it,incase you didnt know three six invented the black people trend of drinking syrup,and they are from memphis

me and my boys get down on that shit every once in a while...it fucked me up good,but the cough syrup tastes like shit.I suggest extracting the dxm out of the syrup and mixing it with something that tastes a little better.

I live about an hour away from Houston......the haven for southern rappers......and for the most part syrup or "lean" is codeine syrup......a cough suppressant....I've had it prescribed to me before....and to have fun with it I mixed it with sprite, hence "purple sprite" it's fun to do when you smoke with it...you just slow down and feel good all over, kinda like mixing downer pills with weed....now I'm not saying the syrup they talk about all the time isn't DXM....because there are rappers that rap about drinking "tussin" a good example of a song is Three 6 Mafia - Ridin Spinners......but for the most part it's codeine syrup.......DJ Screw didn't die because of an overdose on DXM.......he drank to much "lean"......
