What were some of your experiences with Ambien? My friend has some scripts for it and he says if you force yourself to stay wake on it you go into a dreamlike state and can get a pretty good trip off it. So is this BS or should I go over to his house and get some right now? Also can you get the same effects on Unisom?? any posts greatly appreciated.

Yes you will trip balls.. I took once like 8 benadryls and one 5 mg ambien (both pills have same active ingredient) and I tripped HELLA. I saw so much shit it was unbelievable.. The high is sorta like DXM except with a lot more visuals..Dont take to much though because I have thrown up twice on those fuckers..

No, both pills do not have the same ingredient, unisom is diphenhydramine hydrochloride, ambien is zolipidem tartrate, and ambien is by far a superior sleep medication, but that's irrelevant. Yes, you can trip off of it, my friend does it all the time, he reports that 10mgs(without sleeping of course) can create quite vivid visuals in a dream like state, but this never happens to me, so try and find out, it couldnt hurt, 10mg is a perfectly safe dose.

yeah dont go over 10mg though. all i can say is there will be blood, lots of blood.

once it starts the wear off after an hour or so you can pop another to keep the high going.

and since when is diphenhydramine and Zolpidem the same?!! damn people...waaaay off.

Blood? Explain please. I'm on 5 mg of Ambien a night right now. Had to drop the percocets due to the onset of addiction, but I still need to sleep. I guess I'll skip a dose or two and try this out.

heh yeah about the blood thing... it was to just make sure he didnt go over 10mg. because he could pass out, fall hit his face on a counter, wake up in a puddle of his own blood.

I remember my ambien trips.....the fun part was using all your strength to stay awake....every part of you is ready to pass out....and fighting that feeling is fun....to me anyways......but eventually you'll succumb to the feeling and pass out.....it's kinda hard to explain the feeling when you're sleeping.....but it can be described as dreamlike........then when you wake up 7-10 hours later.....feeling fresh and awake....you have to ask all your buddies what happened the nite before.....if you're gonna do it by yourself be in a safe environment ex-home.....

Oh yeah.....i've never really "tripped" on ambien as in seeing visuals or anything like that.....i didn't think you could.....

Man ambien isnt even that tite of a drug for rec use. I dont feel much off 10mg at all. Yesterday my bro snorted 3 of them and he was fucked up for a while. Ive snorted 2 at once, its pretty cool but goes away pretty quick.

It wouldn't be bad to mix the 2......but you'll most likely end up sleeping.....unless thats something you like to do when you're fucked up

Rather than start a whole new thread about ambien, I'll post my question here.

Does Ambien have anything to do with seratonin?

The reason I ask is Fri night I took 10mg ambien, and I was fucked up like crazy. Yesterday I had taken some amps earlier in the day at around 11(a rail of meth and ingested 20mg adderall, I have a low tolerance to amps... yay!)at around 11pm last night I took 10mg ambien, didn't feel anything at all. Took another 10mg and felt mild effects. I stayed up until 3:30am (if I wasn't trying to stay up to evaluate the effects of the ambien, I would have fallen asleep) with out any problem.

I think that amps fuck with seratonin, and if Ambien works on seratonin then that would explain why I didn't feel anything: I didn't have any seratonin for it to work on.

Any ideas?

Edit: Nevermind, I just remembered what actually happened... I had assumed all I did was write for a few hours and go to bed. I wrote for about an hour and then my computer screen started to go 3d on me and typing became so difficult. It was like the inside of my computer had hills and valleys and I was typing on them and the text went along with the hills and valleys. The thing was that I thought it was supposed to be like that, I didn't think for a second it was the ambien I took, I assumed it didn't work as it had the night before. At some point my computer screen became a "monster" at points fucking with my text, I wasn't scared of it, more annoyed and I thought that this is the way it always was... so strange and bizzare.
