I have never smoked salvia. Does it make you nauseous at all?

I smoked a cigarette after a couple of bowls to see if it would kick it in and I got a bit of a headrush which I usually don't get but then again I didn't get any extreme effects from the salvia. I may have just smoked the cig faster cause I was anxious or something.
