same with Crazy, except its a 5. drugs are my life right now. and i can see them being my life for the rest of eternity.

I've got about a level 3 Coke addiction... no, not nose candy, the soft drink. I got hooked about two summers ago when it was really hot and I went through 6 of them in half an hour. I am also a chocoholic. I'd also say that I have about a level 0.5 addiction to pot (I don't like to do it much anymore, but I still really jones for a bong hit sometimes) and maybe a level 0.01 addiction to tobacco. I call it an addiction because I know it's bad for me, but I still like to do it every so often. NOT cigarettes, they disgust me, but that's what got me started. I like a good cigar every now and then.

I know I'm addicted to pot, I have to smoke it when available. It has to be one of my favourite, but I do enjoy a cigar every now and then but I don't have an addiction. I smoke almost every day, but sometimes every other. I'd give it about a 4.5 on the scale.

Just to make any future posts better, I'll make a bit of a guide for all 5 levels:

1. You would like to have it at least once a week, simply because its fun. You're kind of disappointed if you don't get it, but really you don't care that much [not really an addiction].

2. You do it upto 3 or 4 times a week and you generally get disappointed/mad when you're dry and your deals fall through [this is more of a recreational habbit, still not quite an addiction].

3. You do it everyday and will get despressed/pissed off if you can't get your hands on any.

4. You NEED to do it every day or you're really depressed/nervous/pissed off. You're also willing to do things to get what you need, such as steal from family or friends. You risk withdrawls when you're dry.

5. You would rather be dead than not have it, or you can die without it [opiates]. You'll also do pretty much anything to get it as its more important than anything else in the world. Withdrawls are inevitable when dry, however seeing as how the drug is now your life you do everything you can to avoid being dry.

Based on this, I could say I have a level 2 with pot. And I do feel a level 2 is not an addiction [based on what I've said].

i guess that i am a 3.5 for weed then. I dont go through withdrawal if i dont have it but i have stolen from family members to get some.

i mean, i smoke at least once a day but it might just be one pipe or joint...

Cigs would be a 2, if i havent got weed i would only go to cigs as a last resort, i dont like them, but i keep smoking them..

Opiates would be a 5.

I can go without them, but i need weed to compensate. When i take painkillers for migraines that does not count, that is medicinal..

Though when i havnt got weed it is so hard to cope with the addiction, i hate the person i am the days after ive done a lot of codeine... but i get through it..

benzo's would be a 0, i mean the comedown is so nasty it was enough to put me off benzo's for a while.. though i would still use them with codeine if i dont have a lot of opiates.

benzo's i hate, it aint my bag...

nicotine - 5 - i can't stand being without nicotine. i've even walked down the street collecting butts that have been rained on then brought them back home and rolled them in bible paper because i didn't have any rolling papers.

pot - 4 - i can stand going a day or 2 without it but i'd really rather not (and rarely have to.) any more than a couple days and it turns into a 5.

hydrocodone - 5 - i don't currently use hydrocodone anymore but i still have cravings for it and every once in a while if i take a couple pills i'll start having withdrawls all over again.

mushrooms - i can't give this a rating because they're not physically addictive, but i have an extreme mental addiction to them. shrooms are basically all i think about all day.

Cigs I guess..mebbe 2.5... see I dont buy them or shit, but cos we use baccy in our joints I get bad cravings for them and shit, I cant sleep till like 5am without one...which I quite alot..

and i supose a 2 for every other drug. i like to do random drugs at least 3x a week.

Maybe addiction wasn't defined clearly enough. Maybe physical addiction and mental-psychological addiction, as well as addiction/dependence, were not differentiated? I guess that is understandable. But "I'm mad because I can't smoke weed, so I have a level 3 addiction to it?"

2 - Mary Jane: I smoke everyday usually, and usually 3 days a week I'm high all day. But I really don't need it, I don't get grumpy when a deal doesn't go through, it's not a dependence. It's just the summertime.

3 - Caffiene: I gotta get off this shit... Yeah, it isn't a "hard drug" or even that bad for you, but it has real withdrawl symptoms including irratability. When I don't have my coffee, I'm cranky and slow.

.5 - Amphetamines: I don't really do these too often, but they are nice to have when I need to concentrate on something.

.5 - DXM: It's simply fun sometimes.

3 - Various Sleep Meds: Valerian, Melatonin, Tryptophan, Dipenhydramine, are my mantra... I can't sleep, even when I haven't drank any coffee all day. I could probably not take them,but the fear of not sleeping is worse than taking them everyday.

Cigarettes 3, booze at about 0.75. I can go without, but I don't like to.

3-Caffeine, if I don't have a coke or some coffee I get terrible migraines (nausea, sometimes vomiting)

2-Opiates, I like to do em about once a week

4-Other drugs, I love doing all kinds of drugs to escape from everyday consciousness

I'm a 3.5 for food. I binge everday. No purging though. No one takes me seriously but I really have a problem.

As for drugs, I've never done anything I like enough to get addicted to.

Such anabuse of the word addiction'.

I am so pissd at the ignorance that I can't even see straight...
