i bought some salvia... ok i took my water bong... filledup the bowl .. lit and toked till it was empty.. got my hooka ... did the same and i repeated once more with my water bong.. and im not really that high? ... why.. am i high and not knowing it cause the salvia high is so different...

did u use a torch for the salvia? im pretty sure u gotta use a torch lighter for that or some really hot flame (hotter than a lighter). hehe this reminds me of the song "i couldn't get hiiiggghhh"

and i used a torch lighter twice and a normal lighter omdified into a crack lighter worked perfectly the second time... the salvia seems to burn easily..

You can tell the difference because it tells you on the damn label. 5x, 10x, etc are not varieties of the plant, they are extracts. 5x means that the particular extract is 5 times more potent that straight salvia. And I highly doubt that you have some salvia divinorum growing around... it's fairly rare, although there are a number of other plants in the salvia family that look similar.

Anyway, yeah, Salvia D does not take long to kick in... but it's important that you hold each hit for at least 15-20 seconds, and that you don't take much of a breather in between hits. You need to get as much of this stuff into your system as fast as possible, kind of like DMT.

You'll never get high. Salvia isn't some legal weed subsitute. It's a potent hallucinogen. Expect to trip your balls off once you've broken through.

And yeah... if you buy "salvia" from a street dealer, rather than a reputable online vendor, you are likely to get fucked around. There are many, many plants called "Salvia" but only one is the one you want: Salvia divinorum. Sage, the common kitchen herb, is called Salvia officinalis (I think), so technically, you could sell that as "salvia" and not be lying.
