Well after getting a ton of codeine (50mg) and dihydrocodeine (60mg) pills, I tried some with a friend tonight. We started off with 1 regular codeine each, after about an hour and feeling nothing we each took another. I got a slightly heavy, tired feeling for a few minutes but it soon went away. We decided that the pills must have been bad so we then took 1 dihydro each, supposively which is on par with vicodin. After about 45 minutes we each got a slightly light, tired feeling. I felt a very very mild euphoria that lasted about 5 minutes, then nothing. So either codeine and dihydrocodeine both just plain suck, or my pills are bad. They came in the manufacturer's bubble packs and both were made in spain by reputable manufacturers, so i'd think the quality should be fairly good. Are we not taking enough? I thought 100mg of codeine was supposed to fuck you up pretty good, not to mention dihydro which is 3-5x more powerful.

Well that sucks, try a gram of propoxyphene(darvocet, after cold water extraction of course), thats supposed to be extremely euphoric. I have no idea why propoxyphene is illegal, it is a fully synthetic opiate, it has been proven to be no more effective than tylenol, it has shown no addiction potential. They should just make it legal and market it as a treatment for menstrual cramps.

Actually, propoxyphene is physically addictive. It is a synthetic narcotic with a potency simular to codeine. Propoxyphene is also a sister drug of methadone.

I usually take 200-250mg of codeine to get a buzz. From what I've heard about it, dihydrocodeine sucks recreationally...the dosage for that is around 150mg I think

BTW - I highly recommend smoking weed when you take codeine, the synergy is fucking great, it's like a totally different drug.

Dihydrocodeine does NOT suck recreationially, it is 2/3 the strength of morphine and is one of the most powerfull forms of codeine readily available...

Have you any opiate experiance?, as 160mg is not that much really (well, for me)..

but beware, an opiate addiction is not worth it (trust me), stick to weed, its safer...



either that or you have bunk pills...

what does the packaging say?, do the pills have any marking on them?, if you could be bothered you could cross check them with rxlist to make sure you actually have got codeine...

Although it isn't exactly "readily available" in the US....

Also FYI, it's not a "form of codeine", it's a different chemical altogether, the halfway step between codeine and hydrocodone if I'm not mistaken.

The pills I have aren't on rxlist cuz they're from europe. The regular codeine I have is Perduretas Codeina from Laboratorios Medea, I checked and they're in barcelona, spain. The dihydro is Didor Continus made by Viatris, a major european drug company that manufactures in spain but has operations all thru europe. We did get a slight effect from 60mg of dihydro, so i'm thinking we should take 2 or 3 next time. The regular codeine does say "retardado" on it so i'm guessing it's time-release and we should crush it and put it in gelcaps... i'll let you know how it works out.

Forgive me, it has shown VERY LITTLE addiction potential, some of the least of any opiate. I knew it was a relative of methadone becuase they are both in the synthetic opiod category, but did not post this becuase it was irrelevant. Props to you for doing it though.
