Dude just don't fuck with the peppermint extract. Go shoulder tap, that works much much better. Then if you wanna still drink something gross get some gilbeys vodka.

Put it in some diet coke. It tastes pretty good to me. I drink like one shot a night.

Re: Peppermint
Ahh, thats nasty, but im not hear to judge. I would mix it with like a whole glass of orange juice, then it would taste like you just brushed your teeth and drank orange juice.

Re: Peppermint
No matter what you put it in, it's going to taste minty. If you really want to drink peppermint extract hold your nose until you've swallowed it, then drink something to rinse the taste out of your mouth. Seriously though, don't drink that shit.

Re: Peppermint
yesterday I got a bottle of lemon extract and a bottle of lime extract and tried drinking them. I got these ones because they are ninety percent alc. which is better than mint
but it tasted so bad after one 30ml shot of it i tipped the rest and threw them in the bin.
there is no good way to drink it, if you want to punnish your self go ahead.
but vannila extract with coke, tastes slightly like jb and cola. but im talking like a lot of vanilla or it will just taste like vanilla coke

Re: Peppermint
Um what the fuck is the point of drinking vanilla extract, peppermint extract, or lemon/lime extracts?
From the sounds of it Peppermint extract is alcoholic... what's the %?
I know for a fact that lemon and lime extracts don't have booze in them. They're those plastic lemons and limes you buy at Safeway and I put a whole shitload of lime extract in my Gin & Gingerales when I make em and I'm pretty fucking sure the extract isn't alcoholic. I'm pretty sure about Vanilla extract not being alcoholic too so what the fuck is the point in drinking this stuff?
How could extracts from lime and lemon be alcoholic? If that was the case you could get drunk eating a shitload of limes.

Re: Peppermint
The boiling point of ethanol is 78.3 degrees celcius. Have a condenser? I'm guessing no, but all is not lost, it's easy enough to create a make-shift homemade condenser. Equiped with that and a thermometer your ready to seperate the booze from the minty fresh crap. Once you have the ethanol, mix it with a bottle of cola of something of the sorts and Voila! You're pissed.

Re: Peppermint
Where does one find these extracts? Are they that hard to get down? Worse than a 4 ouncer of Robitussin? Ergg my body just shuddered thinking about the taste...

Flavor extracts do contain ethanol. Lemon, lime, vanilla, and many more. You can pick them up at any grocery store; McCormick is a major brand, carrying a full line of extracts.
The rum extract is pretty good mixed in a 20oz coke---nearly better than "real" rum when mixed. I wouldn't try 'n get drunk off of them due to all of the extra sugars and preservatives, though. Later.

Find the proof of your vodka (usually 80), and find an extract with a similar ABV.

Re: Peppermint
just say its a little more than 80% so thats about twice as strong as vodka, so you will need to drink about half the amount you would of vodka

Thats lemon and lime JUICE, not extract. Extracts come in small bottles and can contain upto about 90% alcohol. And no, you can't get drunk eating a shitload of limes.

Re: Peppermint
Jollydickhead has a good idea-- use diet coke. Any kind of diet soda will pretty much knock the taste out of any alcohol. I always used it with cheap vodka (you could combine a pint with just one can and barely notice the awful taste of 6 bucks a fifth vodka)
