Check out what I discovered today...
This is what a smoker of 4 years (and counting) has just found out online today... I mean I knew it was there all along, just thought I'd share...This is some of the more interesting info..
Cigs have -
Tar
Wonder why smokers' fingers have those yellowish brown stains? One word: tar.
Nicotine
Drug responsible for making cigarettes so addictive. Studies have shown that the nicotine habit can be as hard to break as heroin or cocaine addiction.
Benzene
Benzene was once used in industry to manufacture inks, rubber, lacquers and paint remover and is highly toxic.
Carbon Monoxide
This poisonous gas reduces the amount of oxygen taken up by your red blood cells. This means less oxygen for your organs, like your heart and lungs.
Hydrogen Cyanide
the poison used in gas chambers -- it's an efficient killer.
Formaldehyde
embalming fluid used to preserve dead bodies.
Arsenic
A tobacco farmers around the world used arsenic pesticides to get rid of bugs while growing the tobacco plant.
Cadmium
a heavy metal found in car batteries!
Phosphorous
Phosphorus is a mineral found in fertilizer and laundry detergent
Now who wants to quit with me???
Yea, I know I'll just say this now when I'm real motivated and shit, but what's gonna happen in a few hours when I need my daily dose of cancer sticks?
Hmmm...I wonder

Re: Check out what I discovered today...
I wrote a theory about cigarettes being for population control in conspiracy, I covered pretty much everything you could think of as I always do, but its gone now. I guess I should stop typing this shit on message boards and start actually writing it. Oh well, I'm not even gonna start on it here so just think about it long and hard like I had to and you'll get it.

Re: Check out what I discovered today...
theres alot more than that, anyway it takes a long time for all that to build up or keep attacking cells or whatever before it causes any real harm. who cares if it is used to make paint thinner when theres only minute amounts of it anyway fuck.

Re: Check out what I discovered today...
i love cigs like 2-3 times a day for about a year and a half now, ever since i've been legal to buy them, but i keep it low so i get a very good(yet short) buzz from them, it causes harm but i dont mind, i still rather not have started. i agree that its a form of population control in conspiracy though. its hard to stop, even only doing small amounsts of them

Re: Check out what I discovered today...
Besides population control, it's also a good way for the government to cash in on people's bad habits. Putting a huge ass tax on cigs to "deter" smoking does nothing but milk the addicts for money. Tnat's pretty sick to get someone addicted to something then jack up the price for your own benefit. meh..
